Hi Alex! Can I put my whole (over $ 8000) of my past jobs 401K into the ROTH IRA in my first ever brokerage account? Even though I have a new 401K for this past year with my new job? Or am I forced to only put $8000 of my older 401K balance into my ROTH IRA? Can I do that? Thank you!!

A little embarrassed because I didn’t know Schwab offered ROTH IRA investment accounts. but are w2 employees allowed to roll over their 401k from one brokerage to another? without incurring additional fees? I’m curious about whether or not the average American would need or benefit from a regular high yield savings account vs. the IRA 🙌🏽 also your IRA is cash based 🙌🏽💡

What if I start a Roth IRA when my salary is $100,000 but after several years the salary rises above the $160,000 limit? I can no longer contribute?

Nicely done and great information. If you have a Schwab Roth IRA with cash parked in their Bank Sweep waiting for a pull back on a stock or ETF.... can you park the money in a Money Market to get a better interest rate?

I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.

so i went from a 401k to a custodian IRA where they picked there owned stocks ,,,i moved it to my own IRA through CS brokage acct and now i like to put that amount into an ETF ....How do i go about that? i know im trying to get it right please help

I was about to subscribe until that last part about white privilege. I know just 1 subscriber doesn't matter but to say this is an example of white privilege is BS. you could be black and your great great great grandfather could have been black and yet you still would have had the same privilege. You had no more benefit than any other person that had past relatives from Luxemburg. As you pointed out, they have a very diverse demographic. White isn't a nationality. Just like a black person born in America is still an American. Or a Latin person born in America is an American. It's not the color of their skin that makes you an American or a Luxemburgian.
