Some of these videos are why I'm too afraid to spray paint my guns. I've painted some before, but with solid fde colors. Not really any "mixed camo" pattern. I can save 5 or 600$s and paint the crap, or just buy the cerakoted fde parts. An all I'd really have to paint is the lower receiver, and maybe a little bit of upper part just so the receiver area matches better. An then I can also save all those parts until I drop a few more hundred dollars, on a BCM fde lower receiver. An strip of down then, an the whole deal will be legit. The only other problem I have with spray painting AR's, are things like the buffer tube. Which spray paint might make stick a little more, and will wear off in those areas quickly. An how there are so many other little switch spots like the safety selector, mag release, bolt catch. All parts that's spray paint won't last at all on, plus three areas around all those switches where there is movement.
