Does africa have racism towards whites?
We usually drink tea only when we are sick. Therefore a joke "why English drink tea every day".... An example of Serbian dark humor :)
❤❤❤
Do you recommend visiting from UK x
Yes! Cone on holiday to Belgrade, it's about 2 hour flight, cheap (in pounds), and many cool places to eat, party, and go sightseeing
Of course! As Blair said, nobody cares where you are from and you can easily use English to get around. There are quit a bit of Brits here, some having own companies here. Iron Maiden is still one of most popular bands, and "Fools and horses" one of most favourite series. Having been to UK, you would probably have a decent relaxation during your visit here.
How many languages do you speak and how well each of them? Best of luck in Belgrade
Those dry leaves as you say are used in ceremonial purpose. His fire provide family with love, food, money and health for the next year.
Nice video. Try live serbian classes 😅

No one has what a Serb has, and you have ČOJSTVO.
Mozes ti to, bebo!! ❤ Me too, I'm a grammar freak, teach me the rules and I'll always be able to remember them and apply them, and even be able to form new phrases myself, not just repeat entire set phrases learn by heart like a parrot. 🤓 You got this, girl.
PS this "grammar first" is the method known to make students start speaking later, but once they do learn all the most important rules, when they do start speaking, they speak better than anyone else, certainly better than those who were using the "baby method". Precisely because you guys are perfectionist, you don't want to speak until you know you're getting it right, but also because you're perfectionists, once you get it, you speak (nearly) perfectly. (I learned this in my linguistics class in college)

Be well Blair. Happy New Year💖
Back in 50's we had black students. While Brussels had black folks zoo.No racism , power to the people ✊🏼
A gde je slika najvećeg protesta u Beogradu za Novu godinu? Srbija je stajala 15 minuta u apsolutnoj tišini zbog 15 poginulih u Novom Sadu.
Here's how it is. You buy fresh bread, then what you don't eat you collect until you have enough for "popara" which is also called "panada" and you can cook it in water with addition of salt, milk, fat-oil or butter or kajmak and cheese. So, it is some kind of porridge but can be much richer. Thing is, you can't do this with fresh bread because it won't soak properly. It has to be stale (bajat), at least 3-5 days old. Bon appetite!
You are amazing and welcomed here ❤️ Stay positive!😊
Welcome !!!!
ruclips.net/video/Zvhkqgvb5is/видео.htmlsi=wqobKS4XPieV3qz- We all have this in our blood .. that's a reason why Serbian people is so kind . We want to have His kingdom from the sky ,also on the earth , so when times comes we will be clean in the Gods eyes ❤ Enjoy and welcome sister
You "African Americans," like other Americans, often think the world revolves around you. So when one of you comes to the Balkans and no one pays attention, you assume we here in the Balkans are free from racism. Unfortunately, racism is not just hatred toward African Americans or Black people. Racism is hatred toward anyone who is different. And that is where your mistake lies... In the Balkans, as in much of Europe, what African Americans represent in America, the Roma people represent to us. In Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia, Germany, France... throughout Europe, there is significant racism against the Roma people. And they are not the only ones people hate... So please delete the video because it is completely misguided and, in fact, pro-racist. It misrepresents the issue and is misleading.

Is Serbia a very good country? Especially for studies and also the workforce are there jobs to take care of maybe rents and food with bills? How do you cope if you don’t speak Serbian Language?
You always seem very happy always
There are many international students who come to Belgrade and other cities to study. I have my own business and live a different lifestyle than a foreign student or employee. I'm also learning Serbian, so I'm quite comfortable living here. If you're interested in my concierge services and want to move to Serbia, see my website: www.blairinbelgrade.com

Not really 😅
While it's good to hear and know you are having pleasant and welcoming experiences there, other people of color have not faired as well, myself and my daughter included. Over the past ten years, I have travelled throughout The Balkans and racism is very prevalent. A willingness to be open is also present in The Balkans and I'm glad that I experienced some of it along with the negativity so that my understanding of the area and history is more complete. What I discovered is that many people from Serbia and other Balkan countries have not ever had the opportunity to interact with people of color from The States; they have the Roma community. In The Balkans they are looked down upon; the Roma women and men seen as prostitutes and thieves. So, there is racism in Serbia and The Balkans; there is also kindness. Stay safe and blessed sis ❤❤❤
We do dear ! We like hot chocolate and tea as well. Not as much as the coffee though. Kisses and hugs from Chicago area. Enjoy Christmas time in Serbia.
