      Great question! I have a large. In retrospect, I’d like to have an XL…if I could justify it I would get the 2XL! It’s 100% worth the investment!

      Hello! I am not sure. The ml of the pouches are much thicker for retort bags due to the higher pressure that is exerted when foods go through a traditional style retort. I assume they could, but don’t know if the seal of the bag would fail under the pressure and heat of 265F+…depends on your retort system. Please let me know!

      Thanks man! You can try on a gas grill but would want to get the ribs as far away from the heating element as possible. Also, get smoking chips box for some added flavor.

      Thanks! It’s the cheapest option for a holding oven I’ve found, without making the house smell of brisket! The egg is really good at holding heat consistently…really helps with cooking the briskets quick and efficient.

    They have multiple types of whole briskets and if you look at it when you buy you can see what you’re getting. If you buy a 9 or less lb brisket then you getting a juvenile brisket that does not have the pronounced tip.
