You can use the fire stick app to unpair then add remote then hold home on your fire stick remote then it should pair right up

My TV is 2 years old. Won’t power on, NO REASON.

The tv E500i-b1 model was working great and then the backlight didn't come on the next time I powered it up. I unplugged the tv and tried again and it worked great. Next day I turned it on and the vizio symbol blinked on then the screen went blank . Re tried unplugging and plugging it back in but the power led comes on and stays on no picture. This sounds like the main board to me?

I dont even have a manual on off switch🤦🏽‍♀️

What gets me riled up is the reluctance of salesmen to admit that this is a possibility. I recently bought a Samsung TV (delivery in a few days) and even their online user guide makes a very faint reference that this is possible (consequence is that you will only be able to use cable and the sort…no smart services). Online chat with Samsung also very reluctant to say this is possible…but one tech guy admitted it was but explained he’d be out of a job if this was more clearly described in the user guide.

Let me add my name to the list of people whose TVs you have saved. I unplugged the TV, held the power button for, actually, more than 30 seconds, waited a few minutes and plugged the TV directly into a nearby socket, instead of into an extension cord into a distant power cube (because I thought the nearby socket didn't work, but I guess it does). Bada boom! Fixed! Thanks for saving me from going to Costco and buying another TV.

Mine is 4 years old, and this didn't work for me, looks like its going to the curb.

Had no issues with this tv for 2 years. And I hardly ever use it t'boot. Recommended it to family to save money. First they sell out to some "XUMO" b.s. and then one day it just doesnt turn on at all. Hold the power button on the tv and the red light goes out but nothing happens. Never buying Hisense trash again.

Get extended warranty. I just got off the phone with Samsung. They had me unplug and plug tv back in, hit home button. Didn’t work, they are sending an “authorized” Samsung tech to repair tv… AT MY EXPENSE. TV is a year and 3 months old. So frosting to spend $5k on tv that only lasted a year

Vizio will NOT even setup without a internet connection. These videos don't tell you how to set it up without internet. Useless. They can't even tell you how to bypass the internet for antenna. So if they claim a Vizio can used without internet and don't tell you how then they don't know what they are talking about.

Vizio will NOT work without an internet connection. You can't even setup the tv without wifi. So if you want a tv for offline your better off to find another brand. This is why you can't find any information in setting Vizio up without internet, because it can't be done.

I dont have the internet here and dont stream, nor will pay the high tv bill to watch reruns. I just want to use the tv/dvd player to watch my dvds

Okay but you forgot to mention to replace the power cable. 😅 I just use your video to troubleshoot my TV and realize the light wasn't coming on on my power cord box.... So that would mean that the six outlets that I plugged it into or not faulty but the box itself and the power cable

My Samsung UN55KU.... suddenly would not power on, but I was able to somehow get it on one more day before it would not come on anymore. I put it away for about 10 days switching to a 40 inch that I did not like. But because I was able to get the Samsung on briefly, I resisted trashing it. Thankfully, I saw this video before pulling the trigger this Cyber Monday. After one last third attempt holding power button for 60 seconds (and changing my remote batteries), I was shocked to see my TV power on again. I am so grateful☺ Thanks Much!!!

how could you hit source on remote when you cant see anything on tv screen is total blank .

My dad pays over $100 a month & he is not wanting to continue watching reruns, some programs he refuses to watch because of the bad language. So he turns it. Alot of programs would be good if the foul language would be deleted. So why pay for things you cannot watch.

Thanks. It was the power cord loose at back of tv. So I wrapped a piece of tape around the cord and fastened it to the tv so it's nice and snug. The plug inserts to the tv in an upward position. So the weight of the cable actually loosens the connection.

What my TV is doing is, some times it will turn on just fine and run a few days just fine. then one day it will not turn on at all, then ill come back hours later and try again now it turns on and works.. I have a samsugn 55 inch TV.
