I did the unplug + power button combo and it worked. Thank you. If this happens again, I hope my husband is around so that I can fix it and look like a wizard.
I fixed mine with the same problem, this is how, Turn power off at sauce ,then with the remote in hand ,turn power back on whilst pressing the remote on at the same time, it worked for me after trying for a long time .good luck.
Great video for when your TV doesn't come on. My TV comes on, and I will get a picture for about 3-5 minutes, then it will blank out. After 4 more minutes, it will go off completely. I've done all of those steps you outlined, and it's still doing it. I opened a ticket with Hitense Support, and we'll see what they say. I'm not happy with this at all, especially since the TV is less than 4yrs old. No more tvs from China

Any suggestions to fix this problem. I appreciate any help. Thanks

Ours went out like 2 months ago and nothing is working. It seems that if we shine a flashlight against the tv, we make out the screen. Sucks because I dont even think it’s 2 yrs old. Now we are looking at replacing our 75” Hisense with the 86” LG WebOs. Hopefully it lasts more than 2 years
Hi mate, I have a Hisense 65R6 and the Hisense logo comes on for a few seconds then the TV turns itself off. Any ideas on what could be causing this? Cheers.
Mine did the very same thing. And it is just out of warrenty. It worked fine last night. But not tonight. What you have described is what is happening to my 55" Hisense TV got the red light but nothing else except the logo for a couple of seconds then nothing.😢
My TV red light is on but still have no TV. As soon I turned by remote. It only stays on for a couple of seconds showing the Hisense logo then switches off again.
Hie how are you. . May you please mayu help me, l left my hisense TV on pause for a bit long and it went off on now it's not working even the red button is not working
First time I was using this Hisense TV that was in storage for a year. Worked nicely for first hour and a half then suddenly the picture went black while the sound stayed on. I played with the remote randomly and now TV won't even go on.
Hello guys, im having trouble with mine. It's a 50a6g. I tried to factory reset, and it failed. Now my tv won't pass the hisense logo, and it automatically turns off. It's not resetting, it just turns off. Any help would be much appreciated
PS. It won't work on any Streaming Services either (Netflix, Disney, etc) but it will show the tv's screen savers all day long. So, I'm wondering if it's one of those board issues.
This is a chronic problem and the remote doesn't seem to be the issue for me > the tv needs to sit 10 minutes after manually turning it on before various hand controller inputs ''wake" it up > then a rapid fire spill of screen accessing "exorcize" it for a flawless night > good grief > beware of future thoughts of buying this brand
My Hisense 43" has a one-year warranty and failed in 17 months. When it's plugged in, I can hear an electrical hum. The USB ports have power. With a flashlight, I can see a red triangle with exclamation point and some green shapes in the upper center of the screen, but that's all. I've tried all the fixes people talk about on line with negative results. Clearly I have a bad board, but which one? I could buy all three on ebay for a total of about $100-120, but then there's my time and effort, and what if swapping all three boards doesn't fix it? The bottom line is the power button/reset troubleshooting either works right away or your set is toast because replacing all these boards could cost a lot more in money, time, and effort than simply replacing the TV. With another brand.
Had no issues with this tv for 2 years. And I hardly ever use it t'boot. Recommended it to family to save money. First they sell out to some "XUMO" b.s. and then one day it just doesnt turn on at all. Hold the power button on the tv and the red light goes out but nothing happens. Never buying Hisense trash again.
Well not garbage, they are throwaway brands, that last 3 years we all get what we paid for. I have a Sony XBR, 8 years and as beautiful as day one, also cost 8 times more than the high sense that died at 2.5 years! Sony is by far the best manufacturer of Panels in the world! Ive never been let down living by the truth "You get what you pay for!"
So.....in other words, Hisense is junk🤣🤣🤣. You're right about Sony being high quality though. Samsung is my favorite brand, had a 65 inch QLED, recently upgraded to a 77 inch OLED and I couldn't possibly be happier. Now I did look at a Sony OLED and picture was essentially identical to the Samsung. Samsung was slightly brighter and had 4 HDMI 2.1 inputs as opposed to Sony's 2 2.1 inputs so I decided to go with Samsung, but I know I would have been happy with a Sony.
It has a 3 year warranty. Also, per Aussie consumer affairs standards, how long would you reasonably expect it to last? Other counties may be the same.
These are honestly some of dumbest most common sense tips ever, litterally did all of these before i came to this video, lonstory short your tv is prolly fried thats why it doesnt come on and your better of jus getting a different brand cuz hisense is ass
What!?!?.... sounds like a classic ignorant arrogant rich kid comment to me sorry just saying!........ because Common Sense would tell you let anything and everything anyone can think of, as well as everything anyone else can think of that you haven't thought of, where for example, you can find on RUclips which thankfully this guy has provided, for those who aren't ignorant and arrogant and aren't stupid enough to think they know everything or even attempt to assume that they know everything because there's no benefit to that type of mentality........ therefore when you spend anything over even 20 bucks, isn't it worth trying to fix it yourself if there's a possibility of a quick fix or a less expensive way to go about it and like I said even if its 20 bucks, and you come across a quick fix that you didn't think of via a quick and easy search on RUclips, and it turns out that it works which is usually the case more than it's not, therefore you now have not only just saved yourself 20 bucks, you have also gained and appreciation and confidence in yourself that you can actually fix things on your own therefore beating the system and having the wherewithal to try and do things for yourself and be competent and I'm proud of yourself, not to mention the fact that you don't have to get ready and drive out to a store and repurchase the same item or another one that might do the same thing and that item may not have a quick fix which would really piss you off if something goes wrong with that one and you find out via RUclips later on that hey there's a quick fix for the last one and then you go and try it and find out Christ all Friday, if I would have just searched on RUclips I could have had this one fixed and now I have two of them one that doesn't work and wasted money on one I never had to buy had I just did MYSELF some due diligence, that I might add, everyone but people like you, can thank their parents for teaching them!
