Colosseum is the best 3D pokemon game. Prove me wrong

both slap but are pretty heavy on fights. Pokemon options are a lot more limited (colosseum to a genuine fault) and colosseum’s level curve is pretty rough. really its that xd is the mechanically better of the two while colosseum is cooler but way to harsh. both are worth a play but keep in mind that there are some long grind sessions needed to keep from falling behind.

They are rather grindy, totally battle focused in a format i belief the casual players aren't that into, so yeah, it's not for everyone, i sure see the more modern used people having a hard time with them, but if you embrace what the games are going for, they are great!

For me that Z-A announcement is kind of what kickstarted my Pokemon nostalgia that’s built up throughout the year. I’m sorta holding out until the new Switch releases so I haven’t actually played any of the recent games.

Good. This is a good thing. This is what Pokemon needs. They need to stop pumping out games on deadlines they can't meet. Scarlet and Violet STILL aren't optimized to run smoothly 2 years after release. 2 YEARS and they can't get their AAA game to run at 30 FPS. Not to mention all the visual bugs that still happen that the literal entire player base reported as a problem from day one. The level of incompetency they've gotten away with recently is absurd. And a lot of fans will still sit there and defend it like there's been no obvious decline in quality. Now, is the fact that we've gotten no news in the last year a sign that improvements are coming? I'd like to think so, but I'm not getting my hopes up at this point.

The auto battle for solo won’t do you any good after you reach the higher difficulties. You’re better off creating a deck and not using the rental ones. Also PVP is where the fun is.

From a console standpoint? I am VERY GLAD we had nothing this year aside from the mobile games and Pokemon TCG Pocket. Excited for Legends Z-A even more now because of the lack of content we had this year.

Honestly ive been enjoying it. TCG pocket is my first intro into the card game as a whole so it was cool getting to see how the PVP actually works and what makes a good deck and what doesn’t. It’s kinda like teambuilding in the main games where if you enjoy team building, you’ll enjoy making a deck. And even if your deck doesn’t win all the time as long as you had fun that’s what matters. Plus too there’s the “thank you” system after each battle of both players say “thank you” then you both get a free shop point from it so you can still get rewards even from losing.

Colosseum is badassery, rather than a deep story, just watch the opening cutscene. It also shows you the region and the mindset. Then XD Gale of Darkness is years later, some outsiders set in the region, and you're a kid who learnt battles through simulation and suddenly have to face the hidden side of the region, exploring up to the ends of it.

Misty? Mewtwo? Oh that's SO last century. Now we have to deal with Serperior and Celebi 🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠

XD was the first pokemon game thar got my total attention and I played the heck outta that! Still have it!

I always felt like it was meant to be called something different, but they just translated it to tail whip. Like maybe it was supposed to be called Tail wag. And the idea was that if you see a dog with its tail wagging, you would lower your guard around it because the dog looks friendly now.

Id rather see a remake, like an XD switch version making shadow lugia a form that can be transferred to newer gens like colloseum has shadow ho oh and xd has shadow lugia with the pokken shadow metwo being available as a gift from home if data from both games being on the console, something like a primarily battle game vs the regular rpg main game formula being available since now the home console is the handheld

Have you seen the music video for “Whip My Hair” by Willow Smith? Or for “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)” by Silento? Whipping doesn’t necessarily have to make contact with something. Like if someone’s driving and they whip around a corner, it’s just a very fast motion.

I really like the changes to this game. They fixed everything wrong with the physical card game. Getting one energy a turn. And just prize points instead of getting prize cards. Not constantly searching through the deck. Be cool if they could make a version of this game for the physical. If they did I would totally play it. The auto play is pretty useful when I’m working at my PC. Can let it run when I’m too busy to control my moves.

This game complete bullshit. Its 100% luck and no skill or strategy. You play the meta decks and hope you get a good hand. I don't enjoy not having any control over the outcome of a match. The game is a coin flip within a coin flip.

Why do I never see people asking for a remastered version of these two??? It would be really great

I got my first two Pokémon games on Christmas

I got a pokemon Go+ in January 2024. Since then I've been actively playing pokemon go & pokemon sleep. I also LOVE pokemon unite! TCG poket was amazing as well! 2024 was heavy with all the events in those 4 app. I occasionally raid in Scarlet but I'm more app based

So I missed the hype or hate behind Legends Arceus when it was first released, but I was able to snag a copy for a deal on Black Friday. This is the most fun I’ve had playing a Pokémon game since Gold and Silver!!! It’s pretty much been my game of the year since. Sometimes it pays to be late to the party. I’ll finish this right in time for Legends ZA so excited for that

Intresting, thats where I would get Psuedo pokemon. The only downside is that it requires real time waiting for certain biomes which could be up to 90 days. Magmar could also be found in the burned tower I think as well
