Beautiful..

I grew up in Margate in the 60s and 70s and it was crap then (and stank of seaweed). You couldn't move on the front in summer for all the Londoners, but if you saw someone there in winter you probably knew them, it was that deserted. it looked one hell of a lot better than it does now though.

There's a very simple reason why Crawley is a sh1tehole now. It has nothing to do with the locals.

A very enjoyable watch. The thing I'll take away from it is "puts the bog in Bognor" 😂😂 I did GCSE geography in 1988-89 where we had to visit and do a study on Crawley. I haven't been back since, it put me off that much and I don't live too far from it. So I agree with your No.1 👍🏼

Wow Matt i love the main square and the performances ❤that 2000 year old site you went to was amazing what an experience! The chocolate sauce with the spices looked so intriguing :) the bedroom looks so nice for a great price :) so excited coming on your adventures and looks like theres loads of room on the coach and charming ports. Enjoyed the bus drive and glad you were on the bus for the rain. Perfect food place to go when you arrive and some big portions, ideal after a long journey. Those little pigs were so cute! the pool looks just the job in the heat!

Coastal Kent is full of atmosphere. Sheppey is very beautiful in an understated, flyblown kind of way. It reminds me of Clacton and Jaywick although Jaywick is fairly ruinous these days

Why are you using pictures of Hastings Pier that are at least 20 years old? That version of the pier closed in 2006 and burnt down in 2010. Also, the "church" by the Cricketer is the Town Hall; not a church.

The funny thing about Gravesend is that it is often very busy. There are lots of festivals, parades, and art exhibitions. There are also many escape rooms and other game shops. The market has been completely revamped and is an amazing night spot. It's maybe not the best tourist town though. You have to know what you are looking for.

Chatham really has gone down hill since I was at uni. Lived there for three years. Dover has some really great abandoned bunkers that are still accessible.

I think you are mostly right except maybe I would have changed Hastings and Eastbourne round, but yes all of them feel neglected and ugly in the main shopping areas. Why? We need more trees and community schemes to do gardening and veg growing , that would help.

I’ve heard about Oaxaca on other channels. Cool seeing the ruins. I would totally like to experience this and see all these sights. I don’t envy the grueling traveling though. At least you can relax in a comfy bed and cool off in the pool. 👍79.

I was watching thinking is this east Sussex coastal towns he obviously hasn't been to creepy Crawley.. oh wait 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I live just the other side of Gatwick which isn't much better but haven't been to Crawley in years and I work in Three Bridges. Yes I agree with the last one for sure and it's surrounded by ghetto's just to rub salt in the wounds.

That was fun. My hubby was born in Queenborough and recognised a few of these spots. One of his great aunties used to run the Jolly Sailor in Blue Town. We both laughed at the Have A Blast mural but maybe it warrants an explanation for viewers unfamiliar with the Richard Montgomery. 😅😅😅😅😅
