Pretty cool to have a bunch of local showing you around. I've had a few hazards on my hikes but not the mountain caving in on me...yet! After that you was brave going in that cave. I'd have been a bit reluctant. The accommodation and glamping pods looked pretty smart. Looks quite the adventure out there 👍
The landscape is very beautiful, it is interesting to get to know the life of the local people, but you were very lucky that no one was hurt in the landslide.
Definitely a secluded place. When he said that there are no bad men around here did make me wonder though. The clamping pods were beautiful. The fact that you caught that landslide in film was amazing. It just shows how unstable it was/is. Was it a spoil heap from the mining? Thanks for sharing Matt.
Wow! That was a great hook! Glad you're safe and just got a bit dusty. They seem like a very fun and cheerful bunch to have as guides. Loved hearing the details about the mining and the sheep.
Very cool. We just watched this on the big tv. That hill slide was a little close. Nice tour the guy gave you too. I need to brush up on my Spanish. Looks like you are making friends and having fun. 👍76
That was a lucky escape with that rockfall! Glad you guys saw the funny side to it and continued on your hike. Was always curious what No Soy Rubio meant - thankfully we finally got the origin story 😂 Feel like we need a video on your life in Spain and on your previous travels - feel like you've travelled very extensively! Lovely views and that ranch looked nice - especially those glamping pods, wouldn't mind staying there 😂
Beautiful hilly place, wonderful tour of the ranch and glamping pod, but the scary part was the landslide. I am glad you guys were not hurt. The history was very interesting. Thank you friend. Missed watching your contents 😊
Yikes!! Yes indeed, let's keep on going, what else could possibly go wrong!? lol Sure good to see that everyone had pretty quick reflexes!! My goodness, what a great time to learn so many tidbits from the locals!! Awesome!!
Scary stuff, Matt. What an interesting and beautiful country Mexico is! I have lived in Latino countries too, speak Spanish almost fluently, and can only say the experience has enriched my life and appreciate the depth of Latino culture. Stay safe, bro...
Great video Matt. A beautiful place to visit. You have narrowly escaped the landslide hahaha, don't get buried there, be careful where you walk. The cabin (cabaña) at the end is very nice. Cheers🍻
Really amazing Matt... Not sure about the landslide and the cave, that looked a bit risky 😐 but a fascinating adventure. What lovely people! The information they were telling you is totally absorbing, really interesting.
Crikey that was crazy close. Glad no one was hurt. Yikes. That is the second time this week that I saw or read something crazy like this happening to someone. I’m going to be extra careful this weekend I think. Also, thanks for the channel name explanation. I didn’t know that before.
Hi Matt, That was a close call! I hope your guide was not even near. I have no idea what cause the land-slide or it may be natural incident to local PPL... Very interesting landscape, history, and culture. Ringing bell is a respect to the local PPL, I bet What was your wish? hahah just keep it to yourself till that wish comes true. They seem to enjoy country side-lifestyle. No other souls to be around? Is the cave/tunnel you explored a part of mine? One of the modern look accommodation is odd in that location?? haha I am certain you enjoy and appreciate Local PPL's hospitalities. well done. Here is a some story to tell your friends for yrs. I am glad you all are safe and sound at the end. Ta-Ta Look forward to next episode. haha your skin getting darker and darker hahah
Not clickbait then Matt 😲That was pretty close eh? What lovely, genuine folk and an interesting tour of their area. Looks like they're getting geared up for more tourism and I'm sure your video will bring them some business. The guys reminded me of the locals in El Chalten (Patagonia) who were so proud of their homes and their town. Keep on enjoying your adventures Matt but don't get too close to dodgy terrain 😉
@@IanTupmanOutdoors thanks Ian, yeah it was great spending time in rural Mexico, I think in the rural areas you meet the real characters. Looking forward to getting down to Patagonia and meeting a few of these people myself!
Interesting exploring the back country with your guide but that rockfall must have been pretty alarming. It looked like the rocks landed pretty close to your legs. That could have been so much worse with just a few more steps traveled. As it was you were filming and unscathed with a great story to tell. Keep safe and stay lucky.
Love the story about the natural water but ringing that bell to alert the locals above? Sounds like a cartel trap! Would be nice to be there for the cross being brought up the hill. Yikes that is some fall in, crazy corrosion! Nothing more that can fall? 😂 shame about the kid. This guy is a great story teller, reminds me of a kid I went to School with that claimed his Dad had been to the Moon (amongst so many other things) 😂 very protective dogs. Mmm lamb mole bone sauce.crazy how everyday meals can go up in price, but like our fish and chips, almost a delicacy for the rich now instead of food of the poor. Spirit is a cutey. Lovely spot for a restaurant. Yes a Tequilla taste. A great video to watch after National Tequilla day on the sad day that my favourite factory on the planet blew up.thats a nice onion room. Glamping pods with internet? Whatever next! Salut!
@@GENerationXplorers haha yeah I'm just glad we weren't there 10 minutes before 😅 hahaha yeah we all went to school with a kid like that 🤣 yeah even pies are expensive af these days. I didn't know about Tequila Day or factories blowing up?!!
You’re having some amazing experiences there Sir! Just make sure you’re paying for that travel insurance , seems like you might need it one day, if you’re carrying on in this rate 🤣🤣
😅very interesting to see how locals live, that landslide was a bit hairy, all very interesting to watch ❤ though, it was a well thought out tour, we enjoyed watching it.
Perennially thirsty RUclipsr films rockfall instead of legging it! 😂Life saved by Virgin Guadelupe who grants his wish for a beer with aliens at The World’s End, as best she can. 🍺That onion looked amazingly comfortable, kinda like a large yurt but better constructed. A nice change of environment from the city vids. What lovely people! 👍🤩
Yeah, got my priorities in order there eh? 😅 wow, The World's End was great until the aliens turned up 20-odd minutes in. A very big difference to the city vids and the next one will be even more so!
👍
