The crocodile sanctuary was pretty neat - they look like very well-fed crocs! Cool story about the pier and getting to visit it in real life. The beaches looked great, too, and so did that pool at the hotel.

Hi Matt, I don't operate well on not much sleep so I would have been getting my head down as soon as arrived too. The destination looked awesome and a great place to chill out. The food didn't look bad either. Never heard the song you mentioned before, or least I don't think I have, but cool that you found the pier that the song was about. Never been to Mexico so all new to me. There sure was a lot of crocodiles. I bet they need quite a bit of feeding as long as I wasn't on menu🙂
I'm OK with not much sleep, so long as I don't have to do too much 😅 you probably won't have heard of the song, we rarely hear foreign language music apart from pop garbage like Macarena 😅

@@wanderbeard it is well overpriced, the way I thought of it was it was a night I didn't have to pay for accommodation, and I could make some good content out of it. That softened the blow a little bit. Lucky for you, the peso is weaker at the moment than it was a month ago, probably due to the election

Not surprised you went in search of a quieter beach. That looked so busy but I am sure the locals were having a great time. I am sure there was plenty of exciting wildlife about and it can make for exciting content (if you survive). Most will get out of your way pretty quickly, not sure about the crocs though. I am a great one for finding sleepy snakes and have quite a few times almost trod on them. The next few hours I tend to be more alert. I`ve not found a Puma though but did encounter a Mountain Lion on a trail below the North Rim of the Grand Canyon though. By the time I registered what I was seeing it dropped quickly down the hillside, thankfully. Those Crocs are not pretty but fascinating to see. Keep going, keep enjoying and stay safe.
That hike was certainly worth it - some spectacular views! Those crocodiles looked relatively calm, compared to what you typically hear. And I love that story regarding the song, I often get similar nostalgia vibes when I visit places that feature in films I watched as a kid.
Those crocs are the most chill animals I've ever seen, they give sloths a run for their money 😅 I know what you mean, I felt like Indiana Jones in Petra haha

Surely a chance for you to have recreated the Live and Let Die stunt 🤔? Including an old clip of George Michael swimming in the hotel pool at Club Tropicana was sheer genius 🤣🤣. Alright, he didn't have a beard then 😉. Always looking to learn something new and Maná’s track is just full of emotion. Love it 😍! My equivalent first track was/is La Flaca by Jarabe de Palo, two years before Maná’s. Such an entertaining video. Thanks mate.🤩

Still want to move here though, quite possibly more than ever. These are some great beaches Matt, wow, im thinking you need to be a film location scout, this is top tier. Crocodiles, snakes? I’m out, not a fan of either, particularly the former. You’ll be happy to learn, location services, got Spanish Ads, go No Soy Rubio, ESTUPENDO! Crocs behind fences? Ok! Remember what happened to that poor guy from Predator on the golf course? 😱 these crocs are not armless, but you might be! Give me a bear any day. I started learning Spanish as I always wanted to learn a foreign language, Spanish appealed the most and made the most sense so I learned the basics, then moved to Spain to improve it! You could do much worse than Asturias for sure. And from what I've heard, it's extremely safe.
