Now as a memphian, It’s 50/50 for me, one half, it’s expanding and the city has just gotten better over the last 30 years. On the flip side however, there’s crime downtown and constant flooding dangers.

DO NOT COME TO KNOXVILLE AREA! Unless you like polite, nice people, Churches on every corner, drivers that allow you to merge into traffic, teens with manners, you will hate it here.

Knoxville is too crowded! There’s smaller towns close to there with the same type of conveniences. Morristown, Greeneville, Rogersville, Kingsport.

So I went down to Knoxville at the end of March for 3 days and enjoyed it. I am scoping it out for a possible move in the near future. I live in Phoenix, Az and been here for 28 years. I want a change in life and scenery so I am choosing Kinston/Harriman area for my relocation. I enjoyed your video thanks for helping with information on moving to Tennessee. What cities do you sell restate in? I am planning another trip on 4th of July weekend to see how the summers feel with the humidity. Because Phoenix don't get a lot of humidity just heat.

Moving to TN from NY. I’m not a democrat nor ever was. I will NOT change a thing about the beautiful state of Tennessee. I will work hard to keep Tennessee the way it is. Can’t stand NY anymore. Too much to live here and politics are beyond horrible. Excited to start my new life with true Americans.

I lived on the road. Worked all across America. Recently took a position as a designer and can work remotely. I’ll need to rent for at least a year before I buy. Need a 2br minimum with a fenced backyard for my girl Staffy ( she runs the show ). I’ll need this in about six weeks max. Until then I stay in hotels. Do you have available rentals in the higher elevations away from the city but with excellent internet ? Can you send contact information ? Website maybe ? We moved to Mount Juliet 6 years ago and love it! Being the city between the lakes, we are close to water both north and south. We have a boat on Percy Priest Lake. It’s absolutely beautiful there.

Also... do you have any knowledge on the foundation of homes in TN vs CA? I was given a quote for flooring and it is insanely high. It was explained to me that it has to do with the sub floor etc etc

I worked as a loan processor in California and never fully understood the difference between a wet & dry state... other than a wet state required an attorney to look over the paperwork before being funded. Is it not common for an extension to be granted in Tennessee?

I was born and raised in NW Indiana. Lived in Germantown TN for 23 Years then moved to Collierville 22 years ago. Memphis suburbs are very different from the city of Memphis. I love Tennessee.

How about the roof? I've heard that its always a good thing getting the roof inspected, either by going up on it or by drone. So you can se cracks and such in tiles and how the shingles is, if they begin to curl or even in the nails is rusty.
