WHAT is the JD Part # for the bagger in video ?

I want to get this charger since my AGM battery is getting low. Dont have a garage. Hope its safe chargijg the batter in my home despite of all the lowe reviews on Amazon.

That mulch from leaves is gold, it's so good to compost and get a lot of nutrients. I put it in some corner of the yard that doesn't look bad and let it rot, it turns into this awesome dark organic matter that has all the minerals and compounds that the tree used to make its leaves. You put that in your veggie garden and get very healthy plants with big organic produce. Don't throw it away as garbage! Use it for your flower beds if you don't have a veggie patch.

I just bought one last week from Home Depot, just waiting on the grass and leaves to dry now because we had some rain. So tired on making trips to the county landfill.

dude you have a S100... and that is a 42" deck ... and the box even said for 42" deck ... that is NOT for a 48" deck... they have different chutes.

I have the rear bagger system. It is great, but I have one complaint. It is not big enough. I have 2.5 acres and 90 + trees. Need a S100 series to maneuver around and between the trees. It takes about 4.5 - 5.0 hours to do my yard Due to the constant emptying of the bags. All in all, it is a damn sight better than doing it by hand.

There seems to be a gap between the back of the bags and the canopy where clippings are pouring out. That gap is about 1.5 inches. It seems like more comes out than gets bagged. What's the cause / fix? If I pull the bags rearward, it mitigates the problem but then some goes out the front. Any ideas?

Damn! My bagger is like 7/8 yrs old. This one looks way nicer. The way the cover locks in the up position. Mine doesn't do that, that would b nice.

Just bought a 42. It’s great, I just really do need to install the lift blades. I’d purchased a brand-new Craftsman @ Lowes and thank all that’s good they have a 30 day return window. When I returned it and got my new John Deere and christened it, I literally (the real use) was mowing while my mouth was agape at how amazingly better every single thing about it is. It’s just perfect, solid, quieter, more powerful, the transmission is sublime and everything just makes sense.

My big brother, I appreciate you making this video to show me that even us big boys can put one of these things together I look forward to mine coming in. Your video sealed the deal for me buying one of these grass collectors. Thank you very much God bless have a good day

Nice video, I too am about to use my bagger for the first time and also don't want to change the blades. This gave me an idea how it should perform.

Thanks for the video! I just ordered one of these kits and it looks like I made the right choice. Way easier to install than most things and now I won't have to use my walk behind so much. My son said just use a rake, but he hasn't had four knee surgeries. Very straight to the point video and demo!

If you want to pick leaves up drive the mower in reverse yes sounds silly but I was messing around and I can pick up 99% of leaves and sticks as apposed to them blowing out of the right hand side of the mower deck underside

That metal rod below the peep in window, it needs to be inserted into the hole on the black brace above the 2 metal rods that connect to the mower. It keeps the whole thing attached.

You are correct in that you do not need to change the blades. The blade that comes with it are 3-and-1 blades which are good for mulching, blowing and bagging. The 2 replacement blades that come with the bagger unit are specifically for bagging only. They provide a slightly better lift of the grass into the bags but might as well keep them as spares for when the original blades dull. Great job! very helpful. Really appreciate it.

Thanks for this but it wasn't helpful for a beginner like me. The first piece u attached with the 2 metal rods behind the seat, u did not show how to do that and thats important. I found another clip that did.
