The 7900 ct isn't very far behind the xtx version in performance, and considering it's roughly £600ish it's well worth the investment compared to the xtx which i have and tbh I'm actually wondering why I even bothered, it doesn't feel that much better than my 6800 xt model. I'd say probably 25% in different - performance wise. If you can get the 7900 xt cheap enough I'd say do it.

Asus messed up this generation. The cooler is loud and not even that much better compared to the FE and to top the bad performance they charge you extra The Astral was my favorite until I saw videos how noisy the 4th fan is. I will probably get a Suprim or maybe the Vanguard

I'm planning on getting the MSi 5090 Suprim (air cooled) along with the MSi Z890 Unify-X motherboard for my upcoming build. Hopefully I can nab one right off the bat, as the rest of my components I can acquire at my own leisure as there isn't as much demand for Intel OC components lol. I'm going 4k this time around, as back in November I got a Sony Bravia 9 75" TV as my main screen on a discount. Since it's just 4k 120hz I'm not as concerned about having the fastest gaming CPU, and Intel is still very relevant for things aside from gaming. Already seeing various discounts popping up for Arrow lake platform stuff, and there's supposedly been a lot of scheduling fixes for performance.

i feel i may go zotac 5090 oc but the msi version seems good too so the MSI version will perform slightly faster and run slightly cooler?

the answer is you shouldn't buy a 5090 at all.

I don't understand how the supply can be worse than during COVID and the 3000 series launch. We have supply issues corrected and the card is overpriced. I think it will be somewhere between the 4000 and the 3000 in terms of supply/ demand imbalance.

Gonna try out SFF for the first time. Was eyeing FE for a while but it the memory temp + mentions of coilwhine has me worried. However, if i should go for a AIB I would need a vertical riser cable which I havent been able to find that is pci-e 5.0

I don't get it. The card is only 2k which is really freaking cheap compare to your purchase power. I got relatives working at nail salon in USA and he make like 300 USD per day. That is around 9k per months. Computer is freaking cheap compare to cars ( around 30k or so ). What is there to complain about ? And the card is likely good for 4 years or so as well.

Even with the sex model it's not going to output 4K because you're limited by your 7.8 gigabyte Wi-Fi, the card puts out nearly 30 gigs, the 5080 does put out 30 gigs.
