How do you feel about the lag putting with this model? I’m from Malaysia, we just got Lab Putters in retail stores now. Tried the DF3 and Mezz 1, like what you mentioned, in the Mezz 1 video, I tend to struggle with speed for putts over 20ft for both the Mezz 1 and DF3. Inside 10ft im making them or just brushing the edges. I have yet to try the Link 1 as the set presented in the retail store is wrapped up in plastic but it feels more like a traditional putter when I did some 10ft putt. Still haven’t pulled the trigger as I’m waiting for the prices to drop since they were just brought over. Would love to see you review the Link.1 if you have the chance because I think we have similar feels.

I hit a 7 iron 150 yards working with John Handly at Hidden Hills Golf Course.

You didn't seem to have an issue with the ramp. But other reviews have accidentally not addressed the ramp. If you don't stretch out the mat near the ramp, the ball will hit the ramp almost imperceptibly. It depends on how much lag you leave. Must stretch out the mat to avoid little bumps. Also, comment below about "drift around the hole" is accurate. Ball tends to go left or right near the hole.

Great video Drew. I have one inquiry though. I've read in a few other posts and watch a couple other videos about the handicap system. According to those you're only calculating the handicap index and not your true handicap. Albeit they're the handicap and handicap index are very close. The Handicap Index (HCI) needs to be plugged into a second equation. From my research the Handicap formula is: HC= (HCI x SR)/113 + (CR-PAR). Where SR, CR and PAR are Slope Rating, Course Rating and Par for that course. Please let me know if something is amiss. Thanks again for the video.

what's the difference between "adjusted gross score" and "net score"? Example: If I'm a 12 Hcp and I shoot 8 at a Par 4 with Stroke-Index 7, I get one stroke on that hole. So gross score is 8, adjusted gross score is 7 with the net double bogey rule and now I can further subtract 1 for the net score (then being 6?) because of the 1 stroke I gained? Or can't I? But then adjusted gross score would just be the same as net score?

In case anybody is looking for Excel formulas, here are some examples (in my sheet, Score is column D, Course Rating column E, and Slope Rating column F (& Score Differential G) with Row 2 being my oldest round & where I'm tracking Handicap) Score Differential: =(113/F2)*(D2-E2) Drag formula down from G2 to max of G21 depending on how many rounds you have currently. Handicap examples: 4 rounds total: =AVERAGE(SMALL(G2:G5,{1})-1) 5 rounds total: =AVERAGE(SMALL(G2:G6,{1})) 9 rounds total: =AVERAGE(SMALL(G2:G10,{1,2,3})) 20 rounds total: =AVERAGE(SMALL(G2:G21,{1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8})) I'm only at 5 rounds myself, but last 2 above should work (might be able to simply formula in some places). I’ve been rotating the DF3 in and out of the bag. I rolled in a lot more long putts with my Mezz max but the DF3 is so much easier inside 5ft than the Mezz. I’m torn. 🆘

Wonder if there is any difference between the real prosendr and the Amazon version of this which is worth US$30. US$170 is a bit steep.

I have been using the long putter since 1976! The broomstick is 4 a golfer who has the yips with a short putter! It will not turn a bad putter into a great putter, but it will help! If you r a good putter with the short putter, no way should you consider the long putter, especially at $700 dollars.

I ordered one of the default DF3. I've had it for 3 rounds so far and loving it. Kind of taking my mind off putting seems to be the trick. Point and click if that makes sense

Just got my one today. Haven't had a chance to get to the course but feels amazing on the carpet at home and I've been playing 60 years, 6 handicap, can't wait to get to the course.

I’d have to say I disagree. My lag putting is much improved and I regularly use it as a Texas wedge whenever possible. I had 3 one putts this Sunday , 5 the previous Sunday. It feels like cheating on and off the green.

Just got mine today! I loved it at Golf Galaxy! Let’s hope it translates to on course! Only thing is if I’m paying that price for custom i think it would be dope if the head cover matched the color of the putter you chose! I got a stock just cuss I had a gift card to Golf Galaxy lol

The DF3 is amazing. Two things, easiest to start online putter I have ever owned and #2 puts a beautiful roll on the putts. I have already seen the benefits of putting it in play.
