It's a good trail with some very interesting places along the way such as it's connection with the training areas of the WW2 commandos and the restoration of the old invergarry rail station. I had a great time walking the GGW and at a time of year when the trees were at there most beautiful too. Thanks for watching (again) hope it gives you an insight ahead of your own trip. @@Pauls2025 it's a good jacket and probably good enough for all but the coldest night's. Unlike some of the Helikon stuff it runs true to size too. For instance I'm a medium but I have a Helikon patriot fleece that fits just right but is a small. The medium just buried me. But the wolfhound runs to actual size. Unfortunately for me I bought a small thinking it would be the same but found it too snug. So I got rid of the one in this video and bought a medium 👍

Looking at doing the WHW in the next year, possibly solo for my 50 year. Of all the RUclips videos I've watched yours are the most detailed and informative so far.

I completed it for a sixth time in April this year taking a couple of lifelong friends along with me for their first time on the way. Hello yes you shouldn't have a problem recharging your electricals. Most places are happy for you to plug in your phone/power bank etc as long as you're eating in etc. also campsites such as Drymen/beinglas/blackwater also allow you to plug in if you're staying.
