I was on a roadtrip a year ago. And that coil snapped when i opened the trunk on my 2nd stop at some rest area. I had no clue what was happening inside the lock. So I just manage to get a tie to help the trunk stay closed and cintinued the trip. When i arrived in my destination the had been so loose but there wasnt much movement of the trunk as it is SO heavy. Found a local mechanic. And he was so familiar with that issue. The Bait was broken. He just cut the bait and make a new bait from the original coil. He did that pretty fast and it really safe my Journey :)

Nice! If you think about it, you drove a car that cost about $350 a month for a year (excluding the purchase price which I assume was cash). If you do all the service and repairs yourself it'd be even lower. So even with the gas prices, you are getting a car that is less than a new car but that's much better built and with way more comfort. I've got an E39 Touring that is lovely, but an E38 would be lovely. Gas prices are quite a bit higher in Europe though (about $6.8 a US gallon in my country).

I bought my 1999 E38 728I In 2021 for £2800 , ive spent about that on it since 2021 , vanos, tank, batterie ,lower arms and a window regulator gearbox and engine Serviced and a few normal bits wipers and bulbs . they are not dear to run .

thanks for the tutorial! do you know if this mirror will work with the cars that have the IR remote where the receiver is in the mirror? my car also has the clown nose and auto dimming but i dont think the newer cars where this donor mirror is from use that functionality.

Kollateralschaden ist hier auch ein gutes Stichwort, denn ein einzelner Muslim sollte nicht so dumm handeln und dadurch das Bild aller Muslime schänden. Wer den Islam mit Worten bekämpft sollte ebenfalls mit Worten bekämpft werden ( ohne zu beleidigen oder lügen zu erfinden ) -> Debattierend . Diese dreckigen Asylanten sollten abgeschoben werden wenn sie hier sind um Straftaten zu begehen und Steuergelder zu fressen . In ihrem eigenen Land würden sie wahrscheinlich für ihre Taten die höchste Strafe kriegen. Vielleicht wollte sie ja niemand dort haben und deshalb kamen sie hierhin.
