I have one of those one handed electric can opener and it IS awkward. To remove the lid you press the button again and it goes the opposite way and lets go of the can. The lid OFTEN sticks to the can opener and when it does just push the button again. What i do not like is the very sharp edge of the can itself when opened with this opener.

I've had several strokes in my life, Dr Mary T Newport has a book called alzheimerz. What if there was a cure. The title is an exaggerated to get people attention, but she says in her book that coconut oil causes brain regeneration. It causes them to regrow wether it's from injury or strokes, fish oil also causes brain regeneration. The army is looking into it for brain injured persons. You might find interesting on fish oil in a doctors use on the Sago mine disaster victim. I take fish oil and coconut oil every day without fail. Brain regeneration is very slow but I'm proof these things work. Her book has a section in the back on what care givers sent in to her .

My 73 year old father endured a fall about 8 months ago that resulted in a spinal fusion and a broken right shoulder. He was released from rehab last week and is having a tough time figuring out hope to perform some tasks independently, including bathing and drying afterward. I’m sending this video along to him to help him feel empowered to do this on his own. Thank you so much for sharing the steps you take, they’re helping us learn new approaches to our challenges!

I made one of these over twenty years ago out of the Masonite pegboard. This was before these plastic ones came on the market. I was in a pickle back then because a customer ordered over twelve thousand t-shirts from me and wanted them individually folded. That was his requirement to place the order. At the time there were automatic folding machines, but they were way out of my pocketbook price. So, I came up with this idea, but never patented it. Sure, sounds like I'm tooting my own horn. But not really, because I think it's awesome that people can buy these for 20-50 bucks instead of 25,000-45,000 which is the price at that time for a machine. Glad to see you're sharing this!
