hey folks, i really love how you got this snare to sound, beautiful at all tunings, good job! i have this same snare, so i'm wondering at what pitch did you have the bottom head? i did watch Ryan's snare tuning vid with the Ludwig snare, and he did say that that was how he tuned all the snares at your shop, but sadly he didn't say what pitch or note it that bottom head was. i certainly can't discern what note it's at, hopefully you all can. i REALLY want my snare to sound just like yours. : )

I've been searching for a good comparison and found it here. Great job! I can't decide between the Acrolite or Supralite. LOL But that is my problem. Well done and thank you for putting this comparison video together and popping it up on YT, even though it's 4 years old. The best video I've found on these drums... Listened with headphones and I'm gonna watch it again.

I play that drum a few weeks now, and: Awsome, awsome. awsome! Great sound (with an aquarian focos x texture coated, my favourite snare- head), and: rhythmista7707, you are very right: very woody!!! Sounds great from low to high!

Why is the head collar showing so much? It looks like the rim is not sitting right.

I like the the tone of brass without black nickel or chrome on the shell. It seems to open up & breathe more ? To my ears, anyway. Tonality is nice. Sounds great at all tuning levels. Thx.

Looks and sounds Beautiful. Only change for me is I prefer natural finish interior. Great demo. Medium to high my favorite sound but sounds great at all tensions.

That medium tuning has a nasty attack to it. This snare sounds awesome with medium & medium low.

I bought my Mapex Meridian from 2112 many years ago and I still play it to this day. Love those guys!

Clean, pleasant on the ear, and when crashed, don't overstay their welcome. Also, nice defined bells, particularly on the main ride.

How is Wuhan so damn good at making cymbals and then sell them for such affordable prices? I don't personally own any Wuhan cymbals but they all seem really good for their low prices.

Why turn the knob when the butt plate is adjustable?

Not a friendly price point but you forget all about it once you play one in person. Incredble, colorful drum. I A-B'd this with a raw bronze 8x14 and the hammering adds more brass-like qualities. Favorite snare to date

I bought a pair of Z custom crashes after noticing Roger use them in Queens 1986 tour . Best crashes I ever had.
