I'm so glad you posted this! I am not sure why but I've noticed there are not many great videos on this special snare, these specific lugs, etc. I ordered mine back in October but man Ludwig has had it take forever to make it. Did your company just get it and if so when did you order it to come in?

Are you adjusting the batter head only, when tuning higher, or are you tightening the resonant head as well…?

Roy, in a recent video I heard him say that he usually just adjusts the batter, and almost always leaves the snare side alone, at least for making videos.
