Motorcycle adventurer on my BMW F650 GS 2003. Rode from the U.K to Japan in 2018. Travelled through France, Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Western Russia (St. Petersburg to Volgograd via Moscow), Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Altai region of Russia, Mongolia, Siberia in far Eastern Russia and on to Japan.
Recently renovated a Cagiva River 601 which hadn’t been on the road for 15 years (bought at an auction as a non runner)
Enjoy working on my BMW F650GS.
Played bass guitar in a band called Chaos Calling from 2008-2010.

Monster Update - BMW F650 GS 2003 - 106,000 Miles

No high speed stalling since changing battery. Low speed stalling has not occurred in 130 miles since ‘resetting TPS’. Will continue to ride locally and regularly check fault codes as no new fault codes have occurred since resetting. Still using spreadsheet to log any changes or modifications.

Taking a look at a few free checks on Monster. I believe the new air pressure sensor is functioning ok. There are some clicking sounds after I turn off the ignition but I think the bike has always done this. Can any other f650 owners comment on this please? Do your bikes make sounds like this? The stalling issue is back! Lost power about 10 miles in to a trip, bike was bucking and then stalled again at the side of the road. The diagnostic tool is reading a battery fault. Could it have been this all along? I will replace the battery soon and continue to test the bike.
