My husband was bedridden and he had to use adult diapers. I also had to use bed pads even on the floor. I had a huge box of puppy pads in the garage and I thought why not so I used them as bed pads. He never knew the difference 😂😂😂😂 I just looked for that children’s party cookbook on eBay and there were several and they were dated 1964

I love molasses cookies. Years ago (about 25 years) when I had my first knee replacement my Mom would come over during the day to help me. One day she asked me if there was anything I wanted her to make. I had been craving molasses cookies so she baked several. I think it was 6 dozen. I told her these were mine that I didn’t think my husband or 3 boys would like them. I got 2 cookies, those pigs ate the rest😂😂😂😂😂 I figured wrong, they loved them.

Only 2 of us, in Scotland UK. I've always had a pantry, at the moment, I have approx. 33 months working pantry. Freezer wize, I keep enough meat for 4 - 8 weeks, but I do have shelf stable chicken, beef, tuna, salmon corned beef etc, so I know where you're coming from. I also buy long life milk and part baked bread so I never have to run out of either. Loved the video, thanks for sharing xx

I firmly believe that the prices went up during Covid and they have stayed up because they got away with it during the shutdown. I mean why lower the price because people realized it was hard to get during the shutdown.

I get my dog Gracie (golden retriever) Busy Bones from Sam’s just because better price. I also got her some toys. The stuffed toys I got from Walmart she killed within minutes. The ones from Sam’s and Costco have lasted longer. She has had ones from Sam’s for years and they are still good, however they need to be washed😂😂😂 got her some new ones and I’ll save those for Christmas.

Try soaking your cut apples in salt water for about 10 minutes then store in glass containers. This works well.

I'm going to watch purely because you were able to spend $1,000 at Aldi. That's amazing. I have gotten a huge cart full and never reached $300

I go through a lot of avocado cooking spray so to save $ and space, ordered a refillable spray bottle from Amazon. Cooking a whole chicken to perfection can be a challenge. Try the crockpot/foil ring method! Tastes like rotisserie. Loved your haul!

I do that with leftover coffee too. Guess I'm a cheapskate. 😂

My kids loved rice krispy treats also, but they really loved it when I used chocolate cereal to make them.

You do the same as me. While hubby goes and picks up order, I clean the refer, clear counters. And if I have enough time I sweep, mop and vacuum. Then we get some kind of treat that night for supper for our jobs well done.😊❤

FYI that butter cooking spray from aldi is awful it doesnt work good at all.

Food companies and stores donate their excess - little need as individuals to purchase and donate to food banks. I volunteered at GBFB a few years back and was nauseated by the amount of excess.

My husband and I are on a fixed income..I do this every year as things go on sale.. utilities group in the winter 3 holidays including Christmas..if you are on a fixed income .trust me when I say this makes a huge difference.

I save all my left over coffee too. To warm up, iced coffee, and any chocolate cake recipe that calls for water, I substitute coffe for a really rich flavor.❤😊

I love your organized food storage room. I need to reorganize my pantry spaces better. It’s a bit more difficult with storage in separate rooms but I need to think and plan a bit better in the spaces I have. I too feel very blessed for the space we have and the food we have to place in them. I just need to be a better stewart with my resources. Thanks for the inspiration!
