WOW! What an awesome food storage room. I wish I had the room for one of those that big. Our small little basement is finished and I do have a couple of racks down there, but nothing like yours! That’s amazing. It’s a great feeling to know if there was ever a major emergency where everything shut down, that you’re fully stocked with no worries. Love it! Hope you all have a nice weekend. 💜
Thank you so much! When Joey and I lived in our first home, we used our linen closet as a food storage space… The Walmart pickup for the back to school haul is tomorrow! I will try to post it this weekend… It’s a lot of work, but a blessing❤️
put the cleaning supplies closer to the ground that way if they spill it wont damage all the beauty products. I learned that one the hard way. dental/ first aid up top since you wont have to touch them too often and it's lighter so i wont make the shelves bend.
Be careful with your flour, sugar items, etc. Having them just sit openly on shelves will bring insects & possibly rodents. Food safe buckets work well to store those in, or you can put them into air-tight jars. Another suggestion I can offer is to get foam boards from the dollar store or something similar and put on those on the metal shelves. We have those same shelves & it can become a problem trying to keep cans from falling over. We've been doing it for many years & have found those are the best way to keep things safe & organized. I have had food storage rooms for a decade and its never-ending cleaning, reorganizing and restocking, I enjoy it, it gives me such a sense of peace.

I don't have a food storage room or even a pantry. I do have several closets in the basement that I store extra items.
