I remember I didn't go by dates , agree with your Aunt , use your own common sense . Now, I will smell the food or just don't eat it . I have had food poisioning , I was very sick , because of a restaurant, we ate at.
I save all my left over coffee too. To warm up, iced coffee, and any chocolate cake recipe that calls for water, I substitute coffe for a really rich flavor.❤😊

Heading to Aldi's tomorrow for my haul. We do a haul before our hurricane season so incase we need it then what we don't use we donate to the food pantry. Need to restock my pantry . Have a great week & back to school year !!
I love your organized food storage room. I need to reorganize my pantry spaces better. It’s a bit more difficult with storage in separate rooms but I need to think and plan a bit better in the spaces I have. I too feel very blessed for the space we have and the food we have to place in them. I just need to be a better stewart with my resources. Thanks for the inspiration!

My husband and I are on a fixed income..I do this every year as things go on sale.. utilities group in the winter 3 holidays including Christmas..if you are on a fixed income .trust me when I say this makes a huge difference.
If you are going to cook the corned beef it is best in the instant pot at 45 mins. You can also put it in the crock pot low and slow. We mix a little mustard and brown sugar as a glaze.

Love corn beef. We stock up on it at St. Patrick's day when it's usually cheaper. Boil it with pickling spices til it's nice and tender about 3 hours. Once tender remove it and chill it overnight. In the morning slice it thin. We love Grilled Reuben sandwiches. 2 slices of Rye bread with the seeds, mustard on one side, Russian dressing on the other side, top with the sliced corned beef, sliced Swiss cheese and a good amount of sauerkraut. Spread some grass fed butter on the outside of the rye bread and cook them in a panini press for the most amazing sandwich ever. You can also make them as open faced sandwiches just put the swiss cheese on the top and broil them in the oven til all the cheese has melted. Dip in additional russian dressing or mustard. We like them in the winter with a cup of homemade tomato soup.
Only 2 of us, in Scotland UK. I've always had a pantry, at the moment, I have approx. 33 months working pantry. Freezer wize, I keep enough meat for 4 - 8 weeks, but I do have shelf stable chicken, beef, tuna, salmon corned beef etc, so I know where you're coming from. I also buy long life milk and part baked bread so I never have to run out of either. Loved the video, thanks for sharing xx

I go through a lot of avocado cooking spray so to save $ and space, ordered a refillable spray bottle from Amazon. Cooking a whole chicken to perfection can be a challenge. Try the crockpot/foil ring method! Tastes like rotisserie. Loved your haul!

Just like Individuals go to the Stores for Weekly purchases and Meals. We know how to plan for future Meals. Even though I Shop for the Weekly Sales. Due to My Storage containers, My Red Grapes will stay good for a Couple Weeks and My Gala Apples are good for at least a Month. I always have a minimum of 10 Prepared Foods, Vegetables and Meats, in My Freezer.

I’m a little disgusted at the amount of money I was wasting! Great haul!! We had whoppers at home on Friday. My husband grilled them on charcoal and they were amazing!! Big Macs next!!
I on purpose make My Coffee ahead of time. Actually! 12 Pots at a time. In order to save time, I am now adding both My Zero Sugar International Creamer and Truvia and Refrigerate the blend in Beautiful Bottles. I have been making for Years in My Kitchen what Individuals are currently paying nearly $7.00 for a 48 Ounce container.
The Individuals who are being critical. I would bet! If they kept track of their Food purchases and Takeout Expenditures. They would be spending more than You and Joey. We buy Kroger brand soda pop 12 can pkgs when on sale and it doesn't expire until January 2025 we bought in June this year 2024 ❤ we also have for many many years a Rotation Pantry 😊

We buy Kroger brand soda pop 12 can pkgs when on sale and it doesn't expire until January 2025 we bought in June this year 2024 ❤ we also have for many many years a Rotation Pantry 😊

Oh!Corned beef is great in the crockpot on high for 10- 12hours overnight.My
