I'm curious what features AI will have access to. If right stick fake outs for a bad read are too devastating, it will drive more people to play exclusively off-ball defense because typically the rules and mechanics haven't applied to AI the same way. They're hyping up some ideas that sound like they've got great potential, but I've bought their games enough times to know that their hype-to-progress ratio is pretty bad sometimes

The best thing for this game mode would be for everyone to stop playing it.

I'm personally not buying any of these packs because I want to see those super packs which are coming out in a few days. Apparently they are a guaranteed DM+, so that could be insane.

I actually kind of disagree that the PG version is the "best" version, simply because a fair number of people are running oversized PGs. I've basically been running my main shot creator/3 hunter at the 2 in clutch time/unlimited, with Kareem at the PG in order to defend opponent's big PG. I just start Brandon Roy at the 2, and that's worked pretty well for me, since the majority of people have a 6'6"-6'7" guy at the 2 like Klay or Ricky Davis. The pro pass Kareem is really only useful at PG (and can't play PF). While Dr. J probably doesn't replace Brandon Roy for me, I could see a lot of people being happy with a SG version of him because of how pro pass Kareem affects people's rosters. I guess you could just have an out of position big at another position like the 2 or 3, but I'm just assuming most competitive players have the pro pass Kareem.

Gotta start saving MT to get the players needed to lock in this set. And hopefully that was a mistype on the wing span and it is 7'11 and not 7'3. How often does 2KDB mistype things??

I wanna know if 7'4 wemby is still gonna struggle under the basket against Iverson covering him. Will 7+ ft centers still not be able to lay the ball at the rim? And defensively will it really feel like I'm wemby or mutombo when meeting people at the rim on defense? So many times there should be blocks but the offensive player just lays it up or dunks when I'm in perfect position

That risk reward shooting is going to be broken. I’m going gamble and to set mine to high risk reward and learn to shoot. This is 2K so something will be broken so I’m going to guess this option may lead to 2K22 contested Luka style shots going in etc. If not, the opposite will be the low risk reward will work like 2K22 where you just need to get open and if you’re moderately okay at shooting it’ll go in and we’ll get 85-90% from 3 games back again. Either way that’ll be the thing that ruins this year. Edit: the only way this could maybe be balance is if low risk can make some slightly early/lates when wide open but high risk can make much heavier contests and any contest on low risk means it’ll miss. Edit 2: I’ve watched further and saw the defence changes…if this works, and I mean works, people are going to complain so much this year about not being able to defend. The amount of people relying on ghost contests and hands down contests is ridiculous. This may break the community in half.

Having to watch multiple livestreams at least one week apart to get a mid locker code in August is a joke. The 2-day early access if you pre-order is a desperate money grab. It looks like we won’t see any specific MyTEAM info until a couple of weeks before it’s available to play; this should tell you how confident they are about how the MyTEAM community is going to react and they are taking steps to minimise negative feedback. Wang was only in the stream briefly and is becoming less and less visible as this game reaches new lows. And where’s Ronnie?

Im really curious about the changes to AI, and the not gonna lie i feel you om the shoving a controller through my tv. I try to run isolation quick plays and yet my AI teammates still cut to the basket and clog the paint sometimes even when i have driving to basket set to manual. And also hoping the changes to AI means they can tweak the AI per game mode so we dont have 99 ovr defenders with the same brain that is used for the AI in MyCareer REC.
