Don't think I'll be playing MT at all next year. It's fun, but I didn't know I was getting into a gacha game when I started this year (literally a week before the all-star drop a.k.a. when it became MyCasino). I'll still wait til the last minute to preorder, but I'll be staying in the rec.
I feel like we should've expected the pre-order for MyTeam stuff to be lack luster especially since they're including 2k25 cards in the 2k24 pro passes towards the end of the game's life cycle. We got 90 ovr D Rose and a couple HOF badges and will probably get another 2k25 player card come season 9 pro pass. And if we don't pre-order or get the game early on then MyTeam players who have those rewards will feel like they're wasting them
Annoyingly I’ll be getting the HoF version. Not because I want to but because the area I live in, the cost of league pass without NBA2K is basically the same as the game with league pass. I think it works out as me getting a year of league pass with the new 2K for about £10. 😂 I love the early part of the game too and as much as gamble only killed the mode, this year up to all star weekend was actually contending for my favourite MyTeam ever. It’s so sad what they did to this game.
