i had earned a fair bit of VC grinding MyNBA over the year, so my initial plan was to just open the PG packs and pray i got a good replacement for Shai, and first pack was PG Wemby. That left me enough to try the GOAT / 100 OVR and I endes up pulling GOAT series 100 Luka. I was initially disappointed because I know people are sort of down on Luka cards, and I am not a dribble god, but my word his step back into a shot or fade is a cheat code. Its so easy I can do it, and nobody can guard it. Those two as my back court is unstoppable in the pick and roll... So pleased with those two.
Only the whales get deals. I'm still keeping up though with small Ws. Got Sarr from the unlimited next pack. Also pulled 4 DMs from this weeks promo between singles and deluxes but no Bradley 😔
Lol definitely not spending VC for dat, if they're going to make these deals VC only they should run some events where you can earn VC in MyTeam even if it's smaller amounts than the MT we'd get like how you earn VC in MyCareer
Genuine question: What do you speculate is coming that will be a better use for any vc we have left? I haven't spent money on this game since like February (other than the pro pass). I have 400k vc right now, and this 100 or GOAT pack is probably one of the best chances I have at a GOAT card left. I'm thinking about doing it, because I'm gonna spend this vc before 2K25 anyway. I know the chances are pretty low that I get something that helps my team, but I'm not spending vc on these Friday drops because the odds are terrible. I'm holding on to at least 200k in case one of these invincible drops has a good option pack, but tbh most of the invincibles don't seem that great so far.
I think mid sized cards with great releases will be available at some point. Ron Artest is a great example. Releases are pretty much the only thing that aren't end game now. I think elite bigs will be gamble only until 2k25 but cards like Tyrus Thomas and Ron will be more available. I do think this is as good a time as any to splurge but I think there'll be a point where there are way lower chances of getting trolled.

Im sure the lizzid numbers dont support my stance but I bought INV Wemby last year for $50 and I would do it again this year, but its not available. and tbh Im not even gonna turn on the game today because its still a lil tempting 😂 So instead of a guaranteed $50 from me, the Wemby drop got all the MT I earned from playing and nothing else. I’m moving onto College Football. I’ll be back if the AH or PERMANENT player market returns in 2k25.
It sucks you cant get who you want but at the same time i do kinda like that not everyone has the same lineup. The variety of squads can be a good thing
Ay books still not harkenstein card is crazy. I had some vc left over. Opened 2 packs. Got pg bron in the pg pack. Amd got 100ovr duncan in the expensive pack. Which helps bc i dont have it in me to grind for him. Rice grind was brutal

James worthy isn’t worth 200k, but is jumpshot is super fast. I trust him more than almost any other card I have in catch and shoot situations.
Had VC saved up from MyCareer. I opened the pack that goes for 45k and got 100 ovr Tim Duncan. I’m happy with that.
