Jean is such a good character, he's kind, and funny, and is super smart and has an amazing memory, he knows so much random crap because he listens to what people tell him and remembers that information, like one of his dislikes is reading, so all his massive amounts of information is stuff he purely learned by talking to people, what a great guy, one of the smartest and kindest characters ever Also idk how none of the other characters understand why he hates being called a pirate, like imagine you love dressing in orange, so everyone just calls you a criminal, that's what it's like for Jean 💀

I found it really interesting that out of all the people Damon can potentially hang out with, that this is the only time he starts the conversation first. Both Eva and Damon are very reserved people, so I do find sweet that he actively cares enough to start asking things first. That line about coming back to her again and again even if he gains nothing out of it… the people working on this game knew exactly what they were doing when they wrote that line

10:02 I like the fact the creators made it so the characters remember what Damon said to them at the end of the mock trial. It adds a touch of realism, because it seems that some of them want to pretend like it never happened. It is nice that it is coming from Eloise, too. It shows that although she didn’t speak much back there, she remembered it all.

If Eloise survives I'm expecting her to beat the literal shit out of the mastermind.

I think it’s really cute how even though damon insisted on how boring and lengthy ulysses’ monologues were, he ultimately ends up becoming genuinely interested. they definitely get along well.

Kai: Absolutely not (he thinks he'll be crushed) Toshiko: We already see Ingrid carrying her in official art, so we can assume she would. Desmond: He'd say no, but he'd be nice about it. Grace: She'd say no, and would not be nice about. Mark: No. Wenona: No. Ulysses: Once for research, but never again after. Eloise: Politely declines. I really hope to god that they don't turn her into the 2020s Kanade, man. She arguably has the most realistic personality when it comes to being in a killing game. I don't see her as someone whos willingly going to attack someone for vengeance.

bro, this guy looks like he already knows what's going on and due to his reaction to Golfwang's body and Eva TsuBaka's execution, it brings back memories of Rantaro at the beginning of V3, and there's another point here, in his free time event he confuses Damon's name with Damian and this "Damian" exists in the game he is the ultimate volleyball player, in my theory it makes sense that Mark and Damian might have had some kind of relationship before, like an another killing game where Cara die and Damian is the culprit and Mark graduates? also in Bible the name Damian means "to conquer, master, overcome, tame" "to tame" or "subdue" is he the one who won the previous killing game? someone we have to fear about? and his photo is in the boy's dorm in calendar OMG (I don't know if it really makes sense but it's just something that I noticed and wanted to tell you guys.)

I hate to say it, but my prediction is that, to subvert the roles of Hiyoko (victim) and Himiko (survivor), this petite girl is going to be a killer.

she's kind of a bad person (probably a lot worse than what she shows us honestly, since her profile says she dislikes unions) but i like how she's written. as an accounting student who has an idea for how CEOs act, she's not really that different from a lot of them - sort of rude, thinks lawsuits are unjustified and/or stupid, greedy even if she doesn't realize she is because she keeps calm and doesn't act outwardly insane while talking about money. she's also really smart and observant, even if she's also shady with her business. i can't judge how good her representation as a native american is since i'm not native but what i can say is that i like that she talks about her family and her clan a good bit without overexplaining details that wouldn't naturally come up (imo) or having way too much narrative focus relative to other subjects. she's cool. i like that this game has some dicks in the cast (damon, wenona, kai, chapter 1 culprit) that are still well rounded and aren't just blindly antagonistic. like, i actually have a good idea for what wenona is like as a person just from seeing her talk for 15 minutes, unlike _some_ canon DR characters...
