@@Zambiez Don’t sweat it, I’m sure I’d have a bigger skill issue. I suck at dodging in games, never could get the timing right and probably never will. This would cause me many retries. Good thing I’m no RUclipsr, I would frustrate my audience with repeat failures.
@@lunareclipse9916I quite literally had to put a perfume bottle on the space bar (to continue shooting) in order to focus on controlling Damon + pressing the occasional shift for slowdown. I did the trial on Normal and it kicked my butt. I finally won after ~20 times and I was extremely lucky that time around.
My only complaint with the mini-game were the repeating voice lines, I wish they were at the very least more spaced out, I didn’t hate voice lines itself but how often they were spoken. Outside of that however it looks amazing and seems quite fun. Music is great too, definitely a more exciting finish than what was expected.
I honestly didn't mind how much they talked as it's showing they're nervous/trying really hard to defend themselves, just as others pointed out, I wish there were more different voice lines

Me hearing “I JusT wANTeD tO hElp” for the 2763 billionth time in a row when all she is doing for me is killing me for the 7853992*0245054292549925495429245 time in this mini game
The design of the two players’ animal motifs are awesome. Damon has the green lines as related to the Snake game, while Eva fired a swarm of crows for her objection attack.
when I first played I never thought the final boss would be tohou but i was pleasantly surprised.. I procceeded to get my asss kicked cuz I was playing on mean difficulty
This was honestly the stand out moment of the trial for me, the art shift & the gameplay geuinely just being horizontal touhou was great And here I thought peggle being in this game was the peak of the chapter
Making Damons hitbox be a red dot like in your toho games, crow attack a bit slower and less durable if, for example, you are on the other side of the screen from the crow projectile, will certaintly be an improvement
This game feels hard, because Damon was getting thrown under the bus. Hearing those words on repeat really adds to Damon using logic and evidence to catch Eva. Replays don’t necessarily make this any easier to revisit

@@roachewy if they improve the game then it's fine. There is a lot of problems like I can't go the area behind her , unknown hitbox and the smol bullets should do some damage.
@@Med_Zone. Shame I can’t form an opinion on it’s gameplay, because I’m only watching others play obviously. But if true, I guess they could work a little more on the controls and how it feels to play or perhaps it adds to the difficulty and challenge, assuming it’s intentional.
