She's like the sweetest Southern lady ever, like the antithesis of Damon. It's kind of funny, because she is more or less everything he cannot stand when it comes to the others: "unimportant" talent, naive and open, overly friendly, and emotionally led.
@@avengersrequiem It's just not useful in Damon's eyes. He's extremely condescending when it comes to other talents, he probably thinks that Ingrid just hits hot metal and doesn't deserve her notoriety
I find it interesting that we find out more about Damon's family situation in Ingrid's Free Time Events, his relationship seems okay but his money situation not so much. Also, Event 4 being locked makes me cross my fingers and hope nothing bad happens in Chapter 2.
I have a theory: I think in another free time event he briefly mention getting his talent to earn money for his family I have a theory that Damon doesn’t even like his talent he just wanted to live a normal life but when he reached that age where he could understand his families struggles he began working hard to be a debater to earn them money and also after the mock trial he says that the talents don’t even mean anything and it could be implying that he hated ultimates when he was a child and found out about them because he thought that the ultimates were just stuck up brats who were good at one thing and were just praised by society and get a lot of privileges while normal people were treated like they were lower class and most of them don’t even contribute to society so that could give him a deep routed hatred for the ultimates but he’d try to make excuses for himself to not seem like a hypocrite for becoming an ultimate himself and it also explains why he never made friends or didn’t even try because he probably knew he would never have time for them or for a normal life since he’d usually be studying so he could be ready for any debate
After completing Eloise and her FTEs, I feel like Damon and Ingrid are so similar, yet so different?? They seem to be having trouble with boundaries. While Ingrid learned and apologized when she get ahead of herself, Damon knew but refused to admit he was wrong. AM I TRIPPING???
YOU'RE NOT TRIPPING I REALIZE THAT TOO! It comes to light perfectly when Ingrid talks about his family. He gets all huffy and puffy with her and tells her not to talk about his folks and their money situation. But he does the exact same thing to Eloise to the point where she had to cuss at him so he would leave her alone lmao. They both have similar backstories when it comes to financial struggles and wanting to support their families and they both don't like being asked about it.
@@yumllusion6935 This is why I think Ingrid will be one of the people trying to break Damon's shell. Fortunately, there's more than one muscle character with Jean, so unless they decide that Muscle Kills Muscle, she may have a way of escaping the dreaded Chapter 4!
The thing about big muscle characters is that they tend to fall into a very specific issue- something Jean does as well here. Being characters who are too strong for the killing game, both in mind and in their bodies. Which is why chapter 4 tends to be their death chapter, killing off a voice of reason before the finale.
@@plumfadoodle4908most muscular characters in DR series had "sacrifice" theme on them (Sakura sacrifice to stop the killing game, Nekomaru sacrificed by Gundham so the rest stay alive, Gonta sacrificed by Kokichi to his plan) and from chapter 1 Jean and Ingrid IMO had these traits too. Ingrid always take care of Toshiko, and Jean takes the role of captain / dependent guy. So if the next chapter had a motive related to sacrifice prob they would be the main subject (either victim or unwilling/ willing culprit)
SPOILERS: It has been a tradition that buff characters die in the 4th chapter, but this team said they not going by tradition this time. So my prediction: Jean will actually become a survivor to the end. Ingrid is the chapter 2 victim or killer, more likely a victim, since the first victim was a male, and I feel the next one is going to be female.
I think the developers came out and said that they weren’t following Danganropa traditions. But I’ll guess we’ll know once chapter 3 rolls around. Also, the title of the fangame is ‘Eden’s garden’ instead of ‘Danganropa: Eden’s garden’, just something I found interesting and this shows that the developers want to do their own thing which is kinda cool.
Imagine if Ingrid sacrifices herself by planning her own suicide, and letting Toshiko deal the final blow so she could escape, but Toshiko gets found out anyway

Muscle character vs chapter 4
Sakura , Nekomaru and Gonta
Fortunately, there's more than one muscle character with Jean, so unless they decide that Muscle Kills Muscle, she may have a way of escaping the dreaded Chapter 4!
My guess is they're either going for a double-kill with her and Jean as culprit-victim, or subverting that and killing neither in Chapter 4.
They confirmed they won’t follow usual danganronpa troupes so no dueble victim in chap 3 nor buff character death ic chapter 4
