Things I forgot: Film is Kodak Color Plus 200. Any AI or AI-S lens will work. With 'G' lenses you can't control the aperture. APS lenses will vignette. There is a 2 FPS motor drive, the MD-E. More images will be at exit272.com/?p=6464

I have 3 copies of this camera and the meters all work. Not bad for nearly 60 years old. The meter is uncoupled so you can ignore it and use an external meter or Sunny-16 if yours doesn't work or you reload or use a FakMatic. Any idea where to get the 127 film? Or if there’s any other film that works other than that?
I have one in its soft leather case with the strap on top of the camera fully intact. The bag carry strap has broken off on one end.
How do you close the top we can’t seem to do it.
Jesse we need to film oppinhiemer on hbo plus
I like how you mentioned that kodak democratized photography by making an easily operable camera that didn't require much expertise of its inner workings. I'm a media student and I just had a lecture mentioning this fact, inspiring me to buy a kodak instamatic 77x. I'm so excited to try it out! Thanks for the video :)
Got one of these for free today. If I set it to "A", I can shoot without batteries?
Definitely a camera (all the Olympus half-frames actually) I would love for an every day shooter!
Is there a second video where you show the photos and talk about what the Vivitar camera is like to use in the real world?
Hi. Video #2 and many more to go! Do you ever do a follow up video about how the camera worked and show the pictures? Maybe you could start a second channel with the follow up videos posted there… I’ll keep looking. Maybe the follow up videos are here and I have not found them yet. :) By the way, I love this camera, or at least the idea of it. I have one from eBay I grabbed years ago but have never put film through it. I want the meter-less prism real bad! I did find a waist-level finder but haven’t tried, nor the photomic prism.
My camera doesn't seem to be focusing when I zoom in, do I need to buy an attachment lense or something? I'm brand new and am starting out wild life photography! Your videos help alot!
hey my camera will not turn on at all even changing the batteries twice and it wont even show lights can you help any??
I had an EM many years ago (which I sold) and recently bought another to replace it. Despite its limited functionality, I find myself using it more often than either of my (very heavy) F2s. Great EDC/travel camera. Don't let reports of build quality issues put you off - they are (unless abused) excellent little tanks and a great entry point to the fantastic Nikon range of fully compatible lenses. Top tip - if you buy one (like any other camera) have it serviced by a professional before you start. It'll be money well spent.
Does setting the iso actually does anything or no? By example if i got in kodak 200, setting iso to 100 does anything or no?
We did a whole video about the history of the Thornward brand ,and used your amazing video! Someday, we hope to actually own and use a Thornward Dandy. Enjoy! ruclips.net/video/nYygVUadSNc/видео.html
Great upload. Thanks! ❤

If I put 120 film in the 220 back, do you need to realign the arrow, or change the dot sequence?
Can this camera be used if the light meter is broken?
I have that no longer works. It did just a month ago. I thought it was the battery, but it's not that. Thanks!
I had that common problem of the shutter button cover wearing out. My solution was to use super glue on the edges of a bicycle tube repair patch. Loved the Mamiya U and the Olympus mju II cameras.
What is the name of the cord used to take the footage off the camera?
I have the Ansco Shur Shot (with decorative vertical lines on fthe face of the cameria ~1948?) and there is no glass covering the hole. Not sure if missing or by design, do you know?
Just got an FS1 and an Autorrflex TC for peanuts on eBay. Originally just wanted some Konica lenses and it was cheaper to buy bundles than the lenses buy themselves. Very excited to get into film photography
I just picked up one of these at a local antiques shop. Can’t wait to learn how to use it! Thank you for the tutorial, and I hope all is well with you!
I had that camera from 1956. Loved it. And I took better pictures with it than I do now with digicams. I learned to estimate distances and exposures and I was almost always right.
Just got one of these and having some difficulty with the batteries. It came with two copper colored adaptors and the old owner said I could use LR44 batteries. Got them loaded up but not sure how to tell if the light meter is powering on. The meter jiggles around but not sure if it's actually working. Anyone know how to check if the meter is working? I'm very new to film cameras. It's my first one. Thanks in advance!
Hello! Do you still have this camera? Does it work well for you? Has it given you a lot of problems? Do you use it a lot? I am interested to know if it is a reliable machine or if the electronics fail a lot. Thank you!
Had ine as a kid and I just found it in a old box in the attic
Can I use a px625A battery? Is there a difference between a px625 and a px625A ?
ATG/Canon made this to be the last with interchangeable finder. Then later Nikon copied & last on the F5. While ATG's father never have interchangeable finder, made the best OM-3 (meter/or full mechanical camera) like Pentax LX. A special & limited productions for the pros, years later: ATG Canon EOS-1VHSr (10fps without needing or using Canon's bat)
Thanks for the intro. I am complete noob with this but recently got hang of this. Does it work on with film, if so how do you change the film? I am unable to find a complete user manual elsewhere.
I just bought one of these really cheap with a lens. I am interested in the CCD sensor. I also own several older Nikons: D3, D3s, D4.
Is the only difference to the PS-20 that this one has ISO up to 1600?
Hey, I found this camera in my house, and it seems to be out of battery. should I get a new battery pack, or do i need one of those usb ports? I don’t know much about cameras so sorry for the lack of knowledge.
Much appreciated
Bullshit review.
2:42 Can anyone tell me what the orange 4 and 2 (between ASA and 1) are used for. Thanks.
I just picked up a T60 in excellent condition and I’m very impressed with what it is. Question though… I noticed it does not have any light seals in the back. Is this correct. There is no evidence of foam or glue anywhere. The foam around the film window is in great shape. Overall it seems to be a nice carry around camera and is much lighter than my A-1 or AV-1.
Still one of my favourite digital cameras, in good Knick after way over a decade of use.
Thanks for your video. I’ve just bought one of these cameras and it’s an absolute monster! Like your model, I’ve also got the odd-shaped flash on runners on the on the top. 👍😀
Bought one for 20 bucks, no lights on in the view finder and red light on front not coming on but the camera does seem to manage the shutter speed electronically not sure if user error on my part or if its broken
The hotshoe problem can be easily remedied by deoxidizing the contact surfaces after using a bit of benzene to free up the moving contact points. I find that the most common issue is the winding mechanism becoming corroded and not working. There are two set screws (on atop the other) that allow the winder to be removed. Remove the rubber grip from the winder (it slides off with moderate effort) and give it a soak in your favorite penetrating oil (NOT WD-40) for a few days. let it drain after the soak and reinstall. Clean and lube the winder gears in the camera body while the winder is off. The second (but less important) issue is the difficulty of finding a batter of the correct voltage that has the lifespan of the original Mercury battery. The Zinc-Air batteries are perfect, but make sure to move the upper contact blade away from the battery when the camera is not in use, or the battery will draw down very quickly. An alkaline battery can be used, but the aperature recomendation will be at least a stop up from what it should be.
How do you move the pictures to your phone?
Thanks for the video, i just happened to pick one up as part of a yard sale bundle of three cameras for $30. My goal was to just get another Pentax ME Super body as a back up, but the AZ-1 one is interesting just because it came with a F4.5 70 - 200 lens.
Hi there, how does the AE finder on the finder work with FL lenses?
I have one my grandfather owned during WW2
Hey just getting more seriously into film and am looking for a knowledgeable seller to help me buy a good camera i can get proficient on. do you have any cameras you'd be willing to sell?
Hello! I just got a photura as a gift, could you please send me some photos of the manual? I couldn't find it
