I haven't specifically tested this but it does have a variable shutter speed and aperture so it might adjust either or both. Lighten/Darken also works with the flash off so it can't be the way it's done in that case. I haven't seen or read anywhere that the flash power is variable. Most cameras that use a separate flash sensor like this one just turn off the flash as soon as the sensor shows enough light has come in to properly expose. There are a couple of cases where lighten/darken won't work: In a really bright scene, at minimum aperture and maximum shutter speed, you couldn't darken because it can't go smaller/faster. The reverse would also be true in a dark scene since the aperture is as wide as it can go and the shutter is as slow as it can go. If I find any definitive info or have time to test it, I'll reply again. HTH.
For new in the box, I'd get it. I paid $25 for mine but it has some problems. I checked eBay sold listings and they seem to range from about $30 (mostly parts cameras) to $50 and up for tested/working. Those are item+shipping prices.
Hello, i have a Meopta Milona camera, you made a video about it about 3 years ago and i was wondering if you could help me and possibly tell me how to use it? Im pretty new to photography and have never used a film camera before. Also is there maybe a better place to contact you since i couldnt find any sort of email or anything similar
Sorry for the slow reply. I had to turn off comments on the exit272 blog - it kept being overrun by spambots. I'm getting ready for Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day on April 25 but I'll put together a tutorial after that.
@@52cameras54Thanks for the reply, its no problem. Take as much time as you need, altough i have learned the basics i still am not sure how different settings (not sure if i can call it that but ill go with it) would affect the photo or how to set them up properly for a good photo
@@52cameras54 ive just finished watching it and i already think i understand it better. Ill see how my next photos turn out but i think they will be better. Surely not as nice sa your but practice makes perfect. Thank you very much for this, when i first wrote the comment i barely expected a reply, not a full 15 minutes long video on how to use the camera. I thank you again and hope you have a lot of fun with your new kitten!
Do we know does light and dark modes actually overexpose and underexpose or it just hits flash harder?
