Yea...not surprising that they are out a little further and deeper this time of year. I think this late you gotta stay with the larger rivers but even they can be a letdown when the temperatures rise. Or you can find a high elevation lake with cooler temps & a spot with some inflow. That seems to be a place where they are always hanging out! Good luck wherever you end up next!

I sneak into Marlette from the Ash Canyon/Hobart Reservoir side and an E-bike. Usually do good with 12 inch or so average Rainbows and some Brookies.

Hi Amani…I’m a new subscriber to your RUclips channel. You are a joy to watch and very informative. The Eastern Sierra has a special place in my heart and I’ve fished many places over the years up and down the 395 corridor. I was even pictured on a post card at Dardanelle on the Stanislaus River when I was 14. Anyway, keep up the great content and I really appreciate the effort you put in to bringing us the beautiful scenery and fantastic fish. Tight lines!! 👍🏻

I got to the Rubicon river in Desolation and the water was almost a trickle. Didn't even see a fish.

Good luck out there amani! i missed you by one day a couple weeks ago i was out at farad fishing and the next day i seen you post a video with a rattlesnake down by the river. Thanks for confirming my worry of rattlesnakes we had a couple people hiking down the steep incline in sandals thought it was kinda funny they were having a hard time getting down there but i was more worried about the rattlers and all the skin my friends were showing.

No question how hard you work to bring these fishing & hiking excursions. The driving time, filming, hiking, fishing, editing then going to work. Much respect Armani.

When I used to go to Mammoth after labor day I used to have the whole place to my self.Now (I am going this weekend) its totally still packed . People need to go up there with respect for the area and it seems that the herd doesn't have much these days.Thanks for the Video Amani :)

I'd love to see you check out the blue lakes area just south of hope valley. Had some decent bites on big fish in upper blue lake on the south shore cliff area past the damn. Then saw some nice cutthroats over in twin just next door. Fished meadows just passed twin but only saw minnows near the shore, no signs of trout there. As far as I can tell, 108 will still be accessible coming from the north on 395 during this time. Is this correct? I’m trying to get out towards Leavitt meadows in a couple weeks coming from the north

At 108. Going from Topaz to Bridgeport is almost a shortcut via Wellington.
