I agree 💯 with you. I am done with DC and Marvel I defended Jàmes Gunn after he was fired from Disney for making child abuse jokes, he apologized and I fell for it. I had trust in James Gunn until he made a very very bad suicide squad movie, bad peacemaker tv show and disturbing jokes about killing children, etc which makes zero sense AND lastly, he and WB defended Erza Miller after what he did I forgave him but I don't trust him 😢 You're right, Studio interference makes sense. There's no way Matt Reeves would come and announced the script is ready, getting new characters and cast(original & new) in the batman part 2, start filming in 2025 and come out in 2026 AND ALL OF THE SUDDEN, it's delayed again to 2027 according to James Gunn By the time 2026, robert Patterson and some cast might not be available due to schedule film conflicts I think matt reeves, the cast & writers/producers/film crew of the batman 2022 & the penguin tv show MUST QUIT Working with WB and James Gunn & his DCU. Christopher Nolan and James Wan stopped working with WB due to creative difference and WB interference Matt Reeves must do the same before James Gunn and WB makes the work difficult They're moral decayed, corrupted, greedy, arrogant and mentally messed up & making bad decisions WB interference, taking advantage of Zack Snyder's deceased daughter, Erza Miller & Amber Heard - deceitful malevolent narcissist creeps WB and James Gunn chose to defend them which led to critical & financial failure of the flash movie and Aquaman 2 movie After everything WB has done and James Gunn, some people (toxic fans with mental illness) and some RUclipsrs & people in comments section are defending them and the upcoming Superman movie due to trailer liked by nearly many people on RUclips. And to make matters worse, they're judging and blaming Matt Reeves for delaying batman part 2 and blindly defending the flash movie, James Gunn's tweets and decisions of DCU. Between now and 2030, how long do you think James Gunn's DCU and WB will last before they make bad decisions which will bankrupt the studios and there's no one to blame but themselves

This isn't a Superman Origins etc. This is chpt 1 of the DCUU. Chapter 1 is called: gods and monsters. They're already on earth, Superman is already established. Everyone already knows the origins story it's been done. I'm excited about this.

I personally thought MOS was incredible, I was born in the early 80s, I was raised on Reeves and Keaton but superman never felt real just a comic book on screen, MOS grounded the character and made him feel real it was an amazing movie. WB then refused to allow MOS2 to be made as they wanted Batman included as soon as possible. BVS Ultimate Edition was also a really good movie, and then with WW and Zack Synder Justice League we could of had something very very special but for some reason the studio decided to get involved and destroy what we could of had. I personally won’t give Gunn a penny as his comments on kids turned me off him for life, but I hope others enjoy his vision and the DCU to come. 👍David will no doubt crush it as Superman best of luck to him. Really hope people enjoy it 👍

I also want Pattinson Batman in the DCU with its tone maintained but Matt Reeves method of producing a film takes a very long time. At this point I think it's best for Pattinson's Batman sequel to either have a massive time skip which would be an extremely easier way to place that world into the DCU with little to no explanation, or scrap the film and start over with the Brave And The Bold since Matt Reeves is taking too long. Having two Batman films with different directions doesn't make sense.

This movie trailer just isn’t good. Suit looks cheap and doesn’t even make sense.

This is a Superman movie, not a what if Superman was real movie. Snyder used a law n order svu actor to have a redemption ark in man of steel by having him sacrifice himself saving the city. replace him with a lantern that forgot why his ring chose him. just an example. This is a comic book movie not a real life movie with comic book stuff in it

I don't think it's overcrowded, Captain America: Civil War had a lot of characters and it worked so I think Superman can work

Gunn said he didn't want any fake muscles in his suits. He prefers his motorcycle-padded MCU Guardians of the Galaxy outfits. Plus, this looks like CW production quality, rather than a big cinematic masterpiece. Gunntards who lack an artistic eye would disagree.

GREAT THUMBNAIL. LOL. Completely agree with a lot of your criticisms for this trailer. I think the worst part is this movie is trying to do way too much. Someone said it seems like 3 different movies and I agree! Yeah, the suit is still terrible. If they could make a great one for Black Adam, why not superman?! I think they were trying to show his serious side and some other Henry Cavill superman like scenes because so many people wanted Henry to continue being superman? But it is strange, we don't see him smiling once. Also, too many sad moments in the trailer. It is a HUGE problem that they are only releasing stuff like Creature Commandos or other stuff people don't care about. yet, no Batman until 2027. And DCU Batman, who knows when his movie will be....

We will see what happens with the movie .

How many characters were in Deadpool and Wolverine? I think it depends on the circumstances and story. Human Torch, Blade, X 23, Gambit, Sabertooth, NicePool, Hogan, even Hulk and multiple villains were in Deadpool and Wolverine. I sort of agree on rhe suit. In pictures I don't like it. While in motion in the trailer though it actually looks better than the Cavill suit because of the colors. Black Adam needed eyebrows and hair on his head.

I feel like in the DC universe every hero will look at saving people as a Job and will only fight for something in return. And Superman will be the only one that really sees being a hero as a way of life. He will go into any fight for free which will upset the paid heros contract " jobs". Kind of like how Tesla wanted to give the world free energy seeing it as a human right not a privilege.

Super will not only in inspire a new way to be a hero but will upset the DC universes heros way of helping the worlds.

This isn't a Superman movie this is a Clark Kent movie. Also by having hawk girl and lanterns costumes no original is showing that this is only a moment in time of their careers and ideals. Leaving room for Clark to inspire the whole DC universe to see how to be a real hero a true selfless POV of how to use there power without expecting something in return

The difference between all the movies you named that have too much characters in them is that all those movies you named were forced added by the studio after the script was agreed upon. This movies characters are apart of the puzzle from the start.

No, it’s not. I think we’ve gotten so used to cameos that we think people supporting characters who just so happen to be heroes, makes it “Over crowded”. They’re just being used to show the dynamics in which a universe heroes already exist in runs and how it functions with them around.

Guy Gardner, Metamorpho, Hawkgirl, Mr Terrific. It has Stagg Industries in it, which is connected to the origin of Metamorpho. You have Lex Luthor, Rick Flagg, possibly Simon Stagg, and the guy in the black costume looks like Ulysses (people are saying this is Ultraman, but the costume as seen is much closer to Ulysses). One set photo has the Engineer from the Authority (huge mistake to put them into the mainline DC universe because they are an incompatible postmodern deconstruction of the Justice League). Possibly Brainiac as well. Just writing that is exhausting. I can't see how this isn't going to be overwhelming to audiences. This should be Superman vs Lex Luthor, with the crew from the Daily Planet, and that's it. Marvel had such success with the MCU because they built everything very slowly, proving the concept as they went. One hero, one villain, leading up into Avengers, which led up into Infinity War. DC/WB started to follow this model but then rushed everything with BvS, and drove the wagon off the cliff by rushing the Death of Superman storyline, totally losing its impact. Flash and Aquaman should have been before this movie; Affleck's Batman should have had a solo movie. This proves WB/DC is the greatest opposition to a DCU. The first photo of Corenswet in the costume showed a depressed, worn-out Superman. The first on-screen movie image was of a defeated, broken Superman. I don't know who is approving this, but I question whether they understand the character at all. No Superman fan wants a reboot to lead with their hero being broken and bleeding; if Superman gets knocked down, he stands back up; he doesn't get dragged along the ground by a dog. 100% agree with you that the 'save' should have been the leading shot because that IS the character. Using a variation on the iconic Superman theme and the old-school 1978-style lettering is a deliberate choice. It feels like they are going for more of a Superman Returns feel here.

I get where you're coming from, but apparently Matt Reeves has some real life drama going on right now. He's getting divorced from what I'm reading. As far as DCU Batman goes, I wouldn't mind if Robert Pattinson becomes the only Batman going forward. I think some people just can't accept or rather never wanted him as Batman. So, they're biased. To each their own. I want to see it. And I'm not alone in that. I don't think this delay has anything to do with studio interference. I think Gunn and Matt are just waiting to see if Superman is a success to fold both films into the same universe or not. I'm game. 🦇

Happy to see you make a new video after so long!! 😄 the delays are partly because if the Superman movie flops, they will cancel everything. They need to wait for that movie to decide what to do next. And also, they want to sell WB soon. Supposedly. I know why Matt Reeves and many ppl are against it but I don't think it's impossible to have his batman join the DCU. They'll find a way to make it work. And Matt would probably be able to have control over what his batman can/cannot do in that world. Or maybe they just want to wait after batman 2 is released. Cancel batman 3 because Matt Reeves takes forever to write a script. And then announce who will be the new DCU Batman and start filming that. Problem solved, no 2 batmans at the same time.

I have no interest in this version of BatMan. I want comic book adaptations, not real life translations of comic books (The Penguin too). Robert Pattinson doesn't even look like Bruce Wayne. He looks more like a BatMan villain. And that Batmobile looked like trash.
