Plus he is able to keep his prices extremely reasonable, they all appear to be under $250 on his website! Besides Omega, Breitling, Tag, Cartier and others all use quartz too, there is nothing wrong with quartz and this is an ideal use case for it

Even if the movement is inexpensive, a quartz movement is sufficient as it doesn't break down easily and has better time accuracy than an expensive mechanical watch, and is also easier to use. I have gotten interested in watchmaking last year and would like to learn this art. Unfortunately there are only 4 watchmaking schools in Japan and none of them are close to where I live.

It’s a shame that he’s using quartz movement that cost about $10. Since he’s in Japan, he could buy either Hattori or Miyota movements for not much more. Heck, the Miyota 6T15 (mechanical) only costs $50 and has a date function.

Really fascinating and enjoyable video. Sadly very few items are hand-made with such care anymore. The website shows quartz movements, do you also use mechanical movements?

Tandis que le fils est uniquement tourné vers l interviewer et ne regarde pas son pere, je dirais comme une sorte de fermeture. Regardez votre pere avec le coeur ce n est pas une honte ni un manque d estime de soi, c est juste reconnaitre d ou vous venez. Votre chemin vous le ferez quand-même. Paix a vous ! 🕊

Очень интересно смотреть о ремёслах Японии. Как бы погружаешься в процесс изготовления определённых вещей. В юности и у меня был каркасный кошелёк, я его очень любила и пользовалась очень долго. Потом хотела приобрести похожий, долго искала, но тщетно. Их не было, а сейчас и подавно, так как у нас в Украине идёт война. Многие вещи стали совершенно не доступны, а многие так дорого стоят, что их невозможно приобрести. Желаю Вашему производству процветания.
