34:10 the worst part is, they show multiple bad wishes later and act like there's nothing wrong with them. One of the wishes shown in This Wish looks to be of a man conquering land. Sure, it could be a wish to be a knight, but we don't know for sure, and his pose is that of a conqueror, not a defender. If I'm correct, that wish was brushed aside quickly for the express purpose of hiding the arguement of bad wishes. Some wishes are impossible, like the flying woman, or dangerous to the wisher, like the old woman on a ship, and others still, like the Grandfather's, were so vague that they could lead to catastrophe just as easily as prosperity! Not only that, he doesn't directly grant the wishes, but uses his magic to grant them the means to achieve those wishes. The wish to create beautiful dresses was "granted" with a pair of magic scissors so the seamstress could make the dresses HERSELF. Asha would've likely given her the power to poof any dress into existence effortlessly because effort = evil!

Sonic was written so badly, ACTUAL sonic woulve listened and not broke the prism, and even if it broke he woulve taken nines as a new friend rather than “not the real tails” he wouldve bonded with everyone as game sonic’s emotional intelligence is quite high, it sucks going from frontiers to this, but hey with shadow generations (and the fact ian flynn said the sonic prime team IGNORED his notes on each character so they can do their own thing) im pretty sure this mistake will never happen again

1:11:02 look. Here is the one thing I will say about this. People hate prime sonic because it botches his character up. Some may even say the show makes a bastardisation of an attempt at sonic. So no matter what way you try to spin it, even IF it makes for a genuinely well written story itself, in isolation, fixes all the problems here and would make for a character that does in fact work; that still doesn’t matter at all, because then you just have an entirely different version of that SAME problem- then you just have a complete bastardisation of sonic, yes that’s even IF he’s his best old self again by the end, for there in those early parts, it’s just equally not sonic. Then people would still be rightfully calling out the exact same criticism, that his character was ruined in Prime. Making it an actually well written character arc because of it doesn’t change that problem. And yeah, what you describe really, genuinely is as much of a crime to sonic as Shadow in Rise of Lyric is, and also just like with that, no being a different canon really doesn’t help that one bit, not with a level of bastardisation as that. Felt like Woody before the Black Friday Reel tbh, and needed the same treatment he got after that if you want sonic fans to see him as sonic. So I don’t see how taking this kinda approach could possibly be a good idea EITHER. Edit: you acknowledge it at the end, yah I’ll acknowledge your acknowledgment, but I still don’t think it can be excused, not much more to it.

sonic prime feels like it was written by people that never played sonic games before but to save their asses from being a huge flop, SEGA said "it's canon bois" in hopes that people would watch it. Can't say it didn't work but not in the way the same studio behing "Mega Man Fully Charged" expected

Here's a big reason why Sonic and Shadow getting mixed up was messy in the adaptation. In Sonic Adventure 2, the mistaken identity subplot was predicated on one overlooked, but simple detail implied in some dialogue spoken early in the game: while G.U.N. is aware of Shadow, Sonic is an unknown entity to them. They do not know who this blue hedgehog is, and he seemed to be the first hedgehog they saw when they went searching for Shadow, following the latter's escape from Prison Island. They genuinely thought they recaptured the escaped creature who was awakened from stasis and took out one of their mecha the previous night, while their actual target was creating confusion. For all they knew, Sonic was just another form of Shadow, and they didn't question a thing. Just followed orders to take him in. In Sonic X? G.U.N. *does* know Sonic. Very well. In 30+ episodes, they've seen what he's like, and what he *looks* like, they've monitored him (and his friends), they've seen how much the people of Earth like him, they've even worked alongside him against Eggman. Also, they certainly know he didn't sit in some stasis chamber for 5 decades and just recently come out of it to wreak havoc. Yet, they easily mistake him for Shadow anyway. Nothing about the story was changed to better suit how differently this world was built from the games' universe. They don't even have a "scapegoating" excuse, they're just extra oblivious in this continuity for no tangible reason.

I think the biggest problem is most of these people put a surface level amount of research into their videos about thomas (probably because they couldn’t care less if their videos are actually true or not) simply because they see no reason to want to do any research about this show period. Probably too jaded to want to.

i disagree about chapter 5. if Light didn't know about Raye Penber, he would've been cleared of suspicion, the bus jacking wouldn't have happened, and Naomi wouldn't have gotten involved. I'm sure he still would've been caught eventually, but getting Raye's name and drawing attention to it through killing Naomi, was probably his biggest mistake in the first half of the manga. also Shinigami aren't angels or demons. they're creatures of Japanese folklore...

The reason the story changes because I think people take these characters way too seriously and and because of that they lost their Whimsy Lord knows that people been using the knuckles knock into a tree as a reason why Knuckles has been treated bad as a character for many years now

Someone apparently tried to pitch a US version of the Death Note musical and made a concept album. Someone posted them on youtube some time ago. The songs are really good and whoever did the translations did a real good job. There are some differences that some people may disagree with. In some of the translations I read of 'The Game Begins' the lyrics imply that L is trying to stop Kira because Kira's actions are reprehensible but in the English translation they went with, L comes off more as driven by his obsession to catch Kira, rather then to uphold justice. Seemingly only caring about winning 'the game'. I never liked the ending of the musical, and think it would have been better if they went with a ending similar to the 2nd live action Death Note movie, with L sacrificing his life to protect himself from Kira and Ryuk killing Kira because he had lost, rather then Light winning and Ryuk just killing him because without L it would be boring (seems like a stan for most of the Death Note audience)

He's the only one who learnt this magic! Who will authorized him? Just leave the island and go learn magic like him! Secondly... MAGNIFICO INTERVIEWED ASHA IN HOPE SHE WOULD BE HIS APPRENTICE! Magnifico never planned to be the only one capable of what he is doing! He was actively searching someone to teach all the ropes and how to granting wishes! We saw that magic is dangerous and can be used for bsd things. Of course he won't teach it to anyone! But that doesn’t mean he won't teach it at all! Those teens are entitled and twist the story so they don't have to face the fact that someone saying no to them could have good reasons to do so.
