I found that using a little MMO in the gas tank smoothes the engine quite a bit and helps with gas mileage. Also, do the clutch switch disconnect bypass hack ( this makes the bike much better to ride and doesn't cost a dime).

Thanks for this video. I used to participate in a ministry to the homeless and I had to quit after a while due to 99% of them always being on something or just always working an angle. In the few years that I did it, I had only ONE guy that seemed to be legit (like your first guy here) and I gladly helped him, but the rest were mostly just a bunch of lazy druggies and alcoholics who enjoyed grifting the inner city homeless support system. I’ll never forget I had a guy say to me, “Dude, I don’t want your bread or your Bibles, nobody out here does, and we sure as Hell don’t want no job. We can live out here, not pay any taxes, eat for free, and do whatever we want. Why would we wanna go back to your way of living?” Yep, dude said that. A few of the others standing around let out a little cheer when he said it. I said to myself, yeah, I’m done with this.

I watched a video that RUclips recommended of a dude who was curious about whether or not his modified 2022 KLR 650 could hit over 100 mph and for a second it hit 102 before dropping back down into the 90s. Personally I am not a motorcycle rider even though I like motorcycles and think they are awesome. It seems to me that the KLR 650 isn't really meant to reach speeds over 95 mph even when it has been modified. It's probably bad for the engine to be pushed to those speeds anyways, but at least he knows it can be done even though it's not meant to...

Brother, you rock...not because of anything special other than your philosophies (which are intriguing and not as rare as some would care to believe) your love of the KLR650 (it's a great bike, I'm rocking my second KLR and it was my first bike. My 1st Gen was stolen, although used and "ugly" and I'm currently enjoying my 2023 3rd Gen KLR...just a super simple motorcycle with tons of potential and versatility) and that you don't give a fuck about the ever-encompassing ubiquitous bullshit of our modern times. I think the saying that money doesn't buy happiness comes from those who don't know how to manage their finances and choose to be miserable. The people who get offended by everything are what I call the professionally offended because nothing that a level headed person says or does will ever please them and they choose to find fault with everything and everybody. They are basically trolls to the rest of the world and are ruining society for everyone else. I will be a lot happier when I can get my bills and credit cards paid off and hopefully be able to afford a van to start my own package delivery business within the next year or so. I'm tired of working to barely make ends meet while putting money in somebody else's pocket. Having someone else determine what I'm worth pisses me off because I know I deserve to make a lot more money. I also hate it when people say that starting a business is a big risk and that I need to play it safe and just focus on working a full time job for someone else. I'm 40 years old and it's time I stop listening to all the naysayers and do things for myself for once...

been using Waze for a few years best free gps out there for phones

I have an Android Auto touch screen device in my car and Google Maps is the default app on my phone. I decided to switch to Waze after watching this video, but had trouble making it my default navigation app due to the Google settings on my phone. Every time I would connect my phone to my touch screen device Google Maps would pop up instead of giving me the option to use Waze by default. After fooling around with my phone for 45 minutes, I finally figured out how to get my Android Auto device to automatically use Waze instead of maps. It dawned on me to just disable the Google Maps app which I'm glad was an option because nothing else was working. The only thing that doesn't make sense is that Google has owned Waze since 2013 and yet they haven't gotten rid of maps in favor of Waze.
