I'm happy that it wasn't crooked for sure, and we do have some really nice views around here, but man it get's cold in the winter here.

it's not to cold if you dress right..I ride every day because I use my bike for my business and it's really not that bad at all. Of course I do have to wait for the frost to melt off the roads before I can leave the house because they are a little slick first thing in the morning...lol

believe me with this jacket and riding pants nothing get's cold any more. I love these heated gloves they keep my fingers nice and warm, others I have tried only warm the palm of my hand and my fingers would still freeze, these gloves are great. I no longer have to worry about getting cold at all.

Good question, it's just something I've been doing and it works!

I have gained a little muscle but not as much as I would like, still working on it and still working on getting rid of that fat gut man that takes a long time to lose.

no wind can get thru this thing so it traps your body heat inside and you never get cold at all. it's awesome.

I like the KLR and believe me I have ridden a lot of bikes. It's a great round town bike and I can go down dirt roads and things when I have jobs in the country that I have to do. So for me it's what I need right now. Besides I am still making payments so maybe in a couple years I will look into something else..

I look back on these videos and laugh like crazy, I was having a hard time as I was doing it then when I look back I think of how stupid I was for trying this on a KLR...lol But you learn new things as you go and I learned that I was not in very good shape at the time either...so I have been working on that as well. But yes I look back and just laugh because man I put my self thru hell but I learned a lot about the bike and a lot about myself as well.

I've ridden in wind this strong on my gold wing and it would hardly move, but this bike is half the weight and twice as tall.

The kid that bought it put it up for sale not long after and I text him asking why he was selling it, he said the transmission went out on it, but the pictures showed it had been beat pretty bad, I think he was trying to take it off road like a 4x4 not understanding that it's all wheel drive but not meant for that sort of thing. I thought about buying it back but the transmission rebuild or to get one new, would just be ridiculous.

You are welcome, just don't trust any one that is calling on the phone saying they can make you number one on google, all they will do is take and take and take and you will never see anything from it except a huge debt. I got to number one just by updating my profile every single day and making sure I kept getting reviews.

I know what you mean, there's something special about a motorcycle trip when you're battling the elements.

I have never felt bad about having a small head because to look at me you would never know. But it is hard when shopping for helmets and hats and things like that. But I am used to it.

they are called Double Take Mirrors, the don't break when you crash out in the dirt and they don't vibrate nearly as bad as the original mirrors.

I'm in Salt Lake City, and you are right everything is made of sugar because sugar is addicting. the more we become addicted to food the more we have to see the doctor and the more pills we have to be on when we get older. it's all about profit for Farma and the food manufactures.

I know you are absolutely right. About the carbs and sugar. I don’t have trouble with my weight. I am five foot three and right now since got all my teeth pulled 108. But my cholesterol was elevated the last time it was ,checked. It was not at point where I needed medication. The doctor wanted to control with changes to my diet. Along with more physical activity. By the way I will be 52 in January. My cholesterol had dropped after three months on low carb diet. With exercise but the one thing I can’t give up. Is my regular Coke my husband and I don’t have much money. But the pop is staying if I ever have to switch to diet. Already have it all picked out Diet Cherry Coke or Diet Dr. Pepper. The low carb diet definitely is way to lower your cholesterol. If you are someone like me. It worked at it actually has not been bad.

did you know that if you freeze your bread it will change the starch molecules to what is called resistant starch. ?? What that means is that when you eat bread the starch get's broken down and turned into sugar really fast and you get a huge spike in insulin, Where as after you freeze the bread now the starch is changed and it does not want to be digested by the small intestine, so it makes it all the way to the large intestine where the bacteria have to break it down, and they take their time doing it, so its almost like a time release now, it takes a long time for the bacteria to break that down and turn it to sugar so you get this very slow release of sugar into your system and no spike in blood sugar or insulin. and the bacteria keep about 25% of it for them selves because it takes a lot of energy for them to break it down so they use about a 1/4th of it just to feed themselves so they have enough energy to do the job. I couldn't believe it when I learned that because I love bread, now I can eat bread and I am still losing weight and it's a beautiful thing let me tell you.

I am a diabetic taking insulin with a rare form of diabetes . Highs and lows are swinging from one extreme to another. Been years now and not really any improvement. So just freeze the loaf and after it thaws it will change the starch molecules? Thanks for your input.

there is an added bonus to that as well, after freezing when ready to make a sandwich or something if you toast it you make the starch in it even more resistant. I personally have low blood sugar and I am tired of crashing all the time and having to find a store or something to get something in me to bring my blood sugar back up, So eating bread that has been frozen and letting that glucose be released into me slower during the day I no longer have crashes. I can eat a sausage, egg and cheese sandwich in the morning and not have to eat for another 12 hours. So for me it's great having that slow release of sugar into my system . I live at high elevation and it just took some time for the computer to learn things. it's been over two years since I made this video and I have been getting about 51 miles to the gallon and made a video all about that as well and how that happened and everything. PS this bike would never do 70 or 80 in third gear...lol

they do salt the roads here but I wash the bike when the roads are dry and I dry it as much as I can with rags, but I make sure that's it's going to at least get up in the 40's the day I wash it. that way nothing will form ice and cause me trouble.

I am the same way, because I ride every single day except when there is snow and ice on the roads and then I go crazy for how ever long it takes to clear the roads...lol

Nice now that is one video, but that does not prove me wrong, this is just one person riding really good and yes I heard the peg drag a couple times. But this is a rare person and there are not many people that can ride that way on a KLR.

They are doing a lot of construction here as well, I don't know if you noticed in my videos but almost every street I go on around this area is being re done, and that means a lot of rocks on the road and a lot of rock chips in windshields as well. I chose the perfect time to start this business because over the next ten years things are only going to get worse. Since we have the winter Olympics come here in 2034 they want to redo all the roads and things and make it nice for all the people that will be showing up for that. So lot's of construction means lot's of windshield chips and lot's of money for me as long as I keep building this business and keep it going and stay cheaper than every one else at the same time. I hope you also had a great thanksgiving and yes I ate way to much just like I always do and that is just part of the Holiday season for me. I guess I will have to get back on my diet after the first of the year, because there is always to many left overs to eat and we can't let them go bad now can we...lol

Yeah they are good for a couple of things, but overall there are better options for sure. The cameras I use mostly are the Drift Ghost XL Pro cameras and the audio is better and the video quality is about the same, although they don't shoot in as wide of angle, but that is fine because sometimes I believe cameras are trying to shoot in too wide of an angle, and our eyes don't even see things that wide without turning our heads...lol

I did start getting better fuel milage after I put over a thousand miles on the bike, I was told by a mechanic friend that where I live at over 5,000 feet elevation that you have to give the bike time to learn, Now today since this video is nearly three years old, today I am getting between 48-50 MPG. it just took time for the bike to learn.

Only until the computer learns and adjusts for the lack of oxygen at higher elevation, once the computer learns everything and makes adjustments they are great, Like I said I am now getting between 48-51 Miles per gallon so that is awesome.
