My dose is 10mls/0.1mg up to 45 Sprays a day . And since Matthew died my family have all been telling me to stop using it . I’m on a low dose and I’ve never had any issues or problems with it for 7 years.

I’ve been using nasal spray ketamine compounded by my pharmacist and so many people including Dr’s tell me that it’s affecting my liver function yet I can only find that levels are higher during the infusions and level out 3mths after. I started with infusions and was able to stop taking opiates 80 mg morphine and I don’t have any withdrawal symptoms without the ketamine and it’s truly the only thing that helps me with my chronic pain and anxiety .. why am I now having issues with other Dr’s who don’t want me using the ketamine spray ? I’ve never had a problem with drugs and I don’t drink alcohol yet I’m just looked at by the medical professionals as a drug user. I was told years ago by my Pain Management doctor ( since retired ) that using ketamine for chronic pain in patients with Ehlers Danlos was like a good protocol. Have things changed in the last few years? As I’ve moved interstate and no Dr will prescribe it and an infusion used to be through the public system and now I have to pay $10,000 to get one . But the Doctor said only if I reduce my other medication ( tramadol and Norspan ) which I’d be happy to do and have reduced my medication dosage but with the help of ketamine.

As a chronic pain patient , I could not agree more !!! I get 50mg torches three times a day for pain. But in the ER they will push 40 mg through my IV over a 2 minute period and that works way better . Would love to do infusion therapy but it’s so expensive here in Wisconsin . Do you know about how long that neuro plasticity lasts after each session and after the 6 sessions? How long do we want to be careful and mindful of reinforcing the new developing pathways after treatment?

I have found that eyes covered works best for me. But also, if I have an uncomfortable or scary experience, opening my eyes and seeing that bit of light is very useful in killing that immediate discomfort. I may do it a few times until I am through that particular experience, then cover up my eyes again to continue. I used to get scared, but knowing that this works has made ketamine not scary anymore. Its helping hugely with SAG and PTSD

As far as # 6 is concered I asked my psychiatrist at my ketamine infusion clinic and he stated that it does not cause schizophrenia, but it will make someone who has it go into a psychosis. Any more info on that???

Can you expand more on the scary side to ket? Is it unresolved trauma? First time I had it I felt like god and then the second time felt like I was in hell, I generally accepted it and the fact I’d never see my son again.. I was also screaming a lot but I can’t remember exactly why

Most significant reason is that there are no long-term studies. But I am 71, and by the time they find out the long-term effects are bad, I will probably already be dead!

I have neuropathic pain from spinal stenosis. The stenosis has been resolved but I continue with bilateral leg and foot pain. So far I’ve done 6 ketamine treatments with definite improvement. The longest treatment was 70 minutes with 2 mg per kg dose. I think more treatments are needed. Any recommendations for dose and length of treatments? Thank you!

You mentioned an optimum time for boosters for women is at higher estrogen levels. What about post hysterectomy patients who take estradiol. Could they just take a little extra estradiol a day or day of before a booster and get a similar response?

I've done ketamin about 5 times in the last year, and the last 4 tines have been while taking LSD. I'm not really sure what I'm allowed to say. I dont really want to get into legal trouble, but all I'll say is it always gives you the last one you described and it seems to make it a lot more.... interdimentional. It kind of feels like there many different dimensions and each ones on a different frequency, and we run on the same frequency as our dimension and thats why we see it. And it almost feels like ketamin allows us to raise or lower our frequency, and we can see a another dimension when we stabilise our frequency to be the same as it. Sounds crazy I know, but thats the best way i can describe it.
