New Gun Day!
There really are few highs that compare to getting a new firearm. It's honestly an addiction. This week- Alex Greenman from @45.automatic on IG heads to North Carolina in search of Duke's Mayonnaise, Cheerwine, and GUNS. We got some new things, passed on some cool things, but had a good time all around!

During WW2, the American manufacturing effort pulled together to mobilize for war in a way no other country has done before or since. Because of this, we see firearms from civilian manufacturers like GM, Rockola, and Remington Rand.
Dan Wesson Heirloom 2023- A Super Cool Super .38

In a world dominated by Euro-Trash 9mm, we as Americans have lost our way when it comes to non-.45 ACP handgun cartridges. We had it SO right in 1929 with the Super .38- so why don't we see this cartridge anymore?
Limited Edition Alchemy Custom Weaponry- Classic Government

“As someone who has always been drawn to older guns, I have been searching my entire life for ‘the perfect 1911’. This journey would send me across the four corners of the web, searching high and low for a gun that spoke to me in a way that appeased both my love of hard, heavy range days and my vintage emotion simultaneously. A gun that embodies the timeless, classic atmosphere, but with some o...

Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammerless, .32 ACP- My Second Favorite Handgun
Просмотров 4,9 тыс.3 месяца назад
It would only make sense that my second favorite handgun is a John Moses Browning design, but what doesn't is the fact it's essentially a "sub compact". For those that don't know me, I absolutely hate "small" handguns- unless they were designed by JMB. The Colt's Model 1903 Pocket Hammerless, exudes class, sex appeal, and is an enjoyable gun to shoot. Let's walk down a brief overview of some of...
Alchemy Custom Weaponry Quantico- It's "Gangster"
Просмотров 12 тыс.3 месяца назад
It's exciting to finally be posting a video with a gun built by the company I work for. Alchemy Custom Weaponry is one of the premier semi-custom 1911 makers in the world and it is an honor to be employed by such a patriotic company. With that said, you better believe this is a biased video, as I obviously work for the company, but have also been a fan since long before working here. The AGW Qu...
Ken Hackathorn's Personal Novak Custom Colt 1911

There are some guns with history based on who built them. Some have a history because of who owned them... then there are some with both. This is one of those guns. My newest acquisition and probably the coolest gun I own: Ken Hackathorn's Personal Novak Custom 1911. The story of this gun spans decades, so please bear with the length of this video. An "onion of cool", as one of my friends put i...

Gun addiction is a very serious disease, wants it infiltrates the body one is hooked and can be smiling almost unconditionally for hours while he's staring inside his safe. After days on end of countless range sessions you may find yourself "falling out" and feeling like you need to hit the range yet again but really you just need sleep. Then comes the morning sweats and the shakes and there's no bulk ammo to plink with so you start scavenging your mags that are supposed to be for "home defense" all because you've spent most of your check on aftermarket parts and accessories....

To answer your question if the grip safety is still needed. Well the is America Eli, and we ride steel horses (Harely or Indian) now, so the grip safety is still relavent. Wearing a glock or other polymer horse squirter should be reserved for euro trash electric scooters. 💪🏻🇺🇲💪🏻 Stay Gangster

I don’t know much about 1911’s but I love them, there’s a Super Match 38 Super, I have no idea when it was made but I know it’s rare, it’s at a local shop and it’s quite pricey so I can’t afford it but I thought I’d post it on here in case someone wanted information on how to contact the shop.

.38 Super is an all-around caliber. The .38 Super's OAL is very close to the .45 ACP, and this contributes in reliability in the 1911 platform. It's also flat-shooting and offers you a very versatile range. Ballistics of this caliber is also underrated. This is probably why some people want this caliber "killed" because it is very effective, especially against body armor (of that period where the .38 Super was at its peak). I wouldn't be surprised if the .38 Super gets a resurgence in the ammo world.

I really think if somebody made these today in .32 and .380 standard 1903-1908’s they would sell really well! They are IMHO the absolute best concealing most comfortable’ thinnest accurate reliable compact autos ever made’ they could even update it to a double stack version and pigeon hole the market with a high cap .32 .380’ it is such a sleek design in every way, i absolutely would buy versions of every model and carry it everyday

I’m a freaking history freak I love the history. I also like hearing about the history of my favorite manufacturers. Such as Colt,CZ,Walther,Smith&Wesson,Ruger,Beretta, Now with that said I like how your bringing names forward in the custom game. I also like reloading and casting my own ammo. Idk if you do that but if so maybe talk about some reloading. Ammo and the ammo manufacturers don’t get a lot of attention. And in my opinion I think they should. Because if you don’t have ammo what’s the point in owning firearms????

I have a question is Wayne Novak related to Mark Novak please forgive my ignorance. But I always wondered about the sights and who made them. I could totally see Mark Novak producing them. In my quest to figure this out I went to Wayne’s webpage and knew that he worked on 1911’s. This was gosh a couple years before the coof right around the time Mark started doing video’s on RUclips.

Got me a Colt M1911 1914 vintage. It still shoot like the day it was made the trigger is terrible. BUT let’s think about this for a quick second. My specimen was made 3 years after the 1911 began production. My M1911 is a true model of what John Moses Browning originally designed. AND my M1911 was being used when JMB was still alive and kicking. I have a true peace of firearms history!!!! idc what anyone thinks or has to say about there 5000 dollar 1911 variation. My firearm IS the actual real deal American war machine. I can’t tell anyone what my firearm has seen or been involved in. Because I don’t have the capabilities to do extensive research. But I will say this it’s definitely bad a$$ to own it and wonder what it’s been involved in since it rolled out of Sam Colts factory.
