So many lofts close together. Reminds me of when I was a kid and there was a loft on every street around me. You don't see or hear about it now. It seems like these Florida guys have what it takes to lure other fanciers to fly with them and build strong clustered clubs.

Frank 1 loft racing will ruining this game more than club racing, how do you expect some knew lad coming into this sport, club racing is cheaper than one loft race, new lad can't afford 1 loft racing, And it's it racing, it's birds following each other down the road, I'd rather pack pigeons up if came to that, it's just like training toss, pigeon dose,nt nerd youse it's mind, follow the leader

As a pigeon breeder, i can observe a bird in flight over time and know if its a good strong bird with potential to win. Many just aren't, and thise are the ones I sell to beginners. Pretty sure all pigeon breeders are alike that way. Did you think anyone was going to sell one they're realky proud of and believe its a winner?

I don't know if this is a secret, but i know this from practical experience: when you buy pigeons, even when you are shown a photo of the actual birds you are paying for, you most likely will be sold CULLS. pigeons, especially highly inbred birds, (and most of them are) they produce a lot of inferior birds in their offspring that simply are not worth having. They are "kinda small", or have any number of genetic defects that make them inferior breeders. No one is going to sell you a pair or even a single one of their best. Typically they breed those that look borderline ok, then when they see the offspring, and are satisfied that the bird is an inferior breeder, only then will they sell that bird. You can waste a lot of money buying fancy pigeons from breeders until you finally realize everything you have bought is hardky worth having. Incidentally, its that way across the board when purchasing live animals.

I actually shake the spoon to get it level.

I feed one level soupspoon morning and evening sport mix abd my birds are always corky. If I want them cokeyer I feed one level mixed fine seeds morning and evening if I want them more corkey and these fine seeds are rich in protein, fats and carbs. I do not feed barley because it cost too much in my country. With the fine seeds I get them much lighter than barley feeding.

Frank I just want to say thank you so much, you have been the single most important person for me in the sport , barely has been a revelation to me but it took me a while to learn how to use it correctly l never gave up, for canker I got ronidazole and only used it once they didn't need it, inbreeding l know it's hard to believe I thought Frank what are you saying no way but the statistics don't lie, your right, you may be not for every one but your for me God bless.

Hi Frank, some advice on treating of pox. We have the odd bird that gets pox that gets out of hand. We isolate the birds and give them supportive treatment. The one's that overcome it, go on with no ill effects at all. But we wonder what you advise on how to dry up those persistent one? Thanks and love your chat's. They are really helpful. Hi Frank, i checked my birds and i noticed only 2 pairs has white nails ( 100%). Few have white and black nails..90% has black nails. I am confused which one will be a good breeder ? I am poor at breeding and it makes me really sad. I am going to restart my pigeon racing. Kindly guide.

I've tried your feeding system for the past two year and I've had a good season I've had a 1st combine at 360 miles and 2nd combine 280 miles I'm from the North West of the United Kingdom we fly through the lakes district its hard flying. i loft fly twice a day and they fly great but I'm gonna try loft flying once a day next year and the feeding system is great for young bird racing thanks for sharing the videos you have helped a lot specially with people like my self how work 5 days a week

Its a inappropriate question to ask ....will this system work on tipplers??.... As there is very little information available on how to feed tipplers, im following your feeding program. They get the 70% barley mix and after a 6 hours fly they get 50/50 champion and barley mix. I'm trainning them every 2 days. What i can do more to fly them 12/13 hours? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks .

This race was too long. I question your love for your birds, since they are stressed to the max. I would not want my birds flying such a long race. It's not worth the losses of lives of pigeons. 😢
