Awesome video. Helped me a lot 😁 Where I can download the TMO? I didn’t find it anywhere.
@@cristiancarvin3001 It is great to hear the information is useful to you. That’s a good question of where to find a copy of TMO. It used to be on the tmo site which is defunct now. Maybe post on the dsm forums.
@@SlippingTime I have searched on DSMtuners and other community’s, there isn’t a functioning link now. If you have the installer and are able to put it online it will be great for a lot of us.

from what i can tell, i have to figure out about four of these spinning lug nuts across 3 wheels just to get a ruddy tire rotation done. FML

I felt sad leaving my 97 eclipse at the ford dealership. Mine had 130k. I traded it for a Ford Svt Lightning. I waited on a list for months to test drive it. There is a reason I wanted more instant power after driving this car. It looked fine, they told me to just shove the factory heatunit in it. It doesnt have to work.

I recently bought a couple of the decks with the aux input for portable cd players for the nostalgia because this was probably one of the first mass manufactured vehicles with an aux input.
@@Dsmdude4g63 there were a few others, but usually auxiliary in the rear of the deck. These were in the front which yes, has to be one of the earliest.
Wow, just wow! Your mechanical and electrical prowess seem to know no bounds. I've just recently started watching your vids because I'm trying to get a dsm back on the road and I've learned alot from you. Also, I've loved the Lotus Esprit ever since I watched "If Looks could Kill" back in 91. Can't wait to see yours completely finished. Keep doing what it is you do my man.
@@Dsmdude4g63 thanks so much for the kind words and motivation to keep on doing videos. There will be more coming!
@@SlippingTime yes sir you're very welcome and thanks so much for responding so soon because obviously you're a busy man. Just please keep your content flowing. I've already learned so much from you and I will be applying it to my dsm build for sure. It's a 94 Talon tsi with only 74k but it's been neglected and robbed of the drivetrain( except driveshaft, rear differential and axles, plus it has a mint interior) and front end components (which I've already sourced and replaced). Clear title and a great no-rust platform to start with though. And for only $400. Your vids keep me motivated so keep doing what you do. Lol
@@Dsmdude4g63 I am sad such a low mileage one had a bit of parting out. Thanks for saving it and planning to make it whole again. It will be a great car when you finish it up.
Did you sand blast the brass bearing surface in the , uh.. not the engine mount bracket but other part next to it whatever it’s called?

You should have used the suction hose to empty the brake fluid reservoir before adding new fluid.
You aren't kidding when you say these ecu issues started happening pretty early on. I recently bought an eprom ecu that came out of a mint 92 Laser RS and it had a paper seal on it stating it had been repaired on 12/2000. Still works good thankfully.

I've gotta 2000 Dodge Dakota that I just inherited a year ago after my father passed and it's the S. L t with c five point nine lliter v8. I've recently had to put a radiator in it due plastic parts not lasting forever in a coolant system. However, you would be lots of money ahead. Calling a reputable shop and having them put in a jasper rebuilt motor. That is what i'm going to do when the time comes for major engine overhaul on mine.

If he got that much room !! Saw sal that bolt off for God sake ! Then replace the bolt and lug nut! He doing it the hard way !!
And they make long enough blades to do it with out hurting rim !!
It’s not original though. It has a 90-91 front end with a 92-94 tail end. Someone sold a garage kept 1991 Mitsubishi eclipse. One owner with 20,000 on eBay for $3,000 about a year ago.
EXCELLENT job man. This brings back a FLOOD of memories lol. I had a 2g to start out with just bolts, 16g, and a Hallman MBC. Also had 1g CAS which let it pick up significant power. fwd peg leg burnout to a 13.1@112 mph with no tuning system and a 1g side mount IC lol. So wish I would've started with an awd 1g! Ended up in the second Evo to be sold in the state of Idaho. Crashed it unfortunately and got a 2005 Evo which I still have. Thanks for making and posting this! Brought back warm memories.
@@bryangibson2788 it makes me happy knowing the video sparked some fond memories of the cars back in the day. Good on you still having an Evo!

Hey, just came across your channel, and am thankful, as there is not much out there for fixing/rebuilding the DSMs. I am currently working on a 93 Talon, and am wondering where you buy your OEM parts in Canada? TIA!

Hey, Does loosen stud cause rattling noise?
Not usually. Only if the back of the stud comes out of the hub. That would make a hell of a racket. You'd definitely know!
