Bring a trailer is probably one of the most reputable actions in the world! Great video like always!!!!
Yes. They did us both well. 😀
Great to hear your story . Mods on cars make it more work for the auction company so I am super glad it worked out for you. What a relief when the wired money comes! Great timelines and help for others.
It was quite the experience I felt needed to be told. Hopefully it gives people a sense of what happens and the emotions that happens through it.
Amazing it sold for as much as it did, car is so clean and well done.
Thank you. It was an exciting experience.
Congrats. Hopefully this gives you a good revenue stream to keep the great content coming.
It helps as long as the wife doesn’t want a new kitchen. 😀
Man you need to make a pop up head light swap tutorial, I know a lot of people as well as myself who would love that, love your videos man keep it up!
I wish I would have started doing the videos earlier to capture the entire build and process. I have a ton of picture but no video 😔. If I do another one I will have video for sure.
Thank you for watching!
@@SlippingTime I understand and don’t worry we all have a life, question tho , did you have to cut out and re weld the brackets to the combo lights?, thank you.
@@elimcaskin3252 I drilled out the pinch welds for the 1gb brackets and then used hardware to mount the 1ga ones. That made it easier to align everything on a dry fit as well as make final adjustments. I dry fitted everything l, removed it all, painted it, and then assembled.
@@SlippingTime hell yeah man thank you! I’m doing this to my car right now, huge inspiration🙏 Ill probably have more questions later on but thank you again
So happy that this turned out well for you. I can't imagine the stress you had. My only concern now for you is the backlash you may get from your comment about k-Cars not being BAT worthy vehicles. Be careful what you say!
Haha. Oddly enough when I see a mint k-car I smile and take a picture.
I thought Brandon Was joking when he said he bid on your car, He knew he wouldn't touch it for 10k but hey we gotta support our local dsm'ers. I regret not buying the 92 talon awd that popped up a couple years ago with next to no miles and mint shape that sold for peanuts!
Yep, he got his name up on the bidding early.
I think on cars and bids you would have gotten less, just my opinion, awesome car, and thanks for sharing your story
I agree. They don’t have the exposure and history yet like BaT.
I think I would disagree here. They have a relatively consistent history of setting record sales on vehicles. Definitely agree their initial offer was a little low, but their expertise is on enthusiast cars, not modified enthusiast cars. I think their appraisal was likely based on comp sales of other Talons that were much closer to stock. Either way, if you were confident in your car, which you should have been given the fantastic result, why not just sell no reserve? It's proven to bring the money time and time again looking at finished sales
Goodmorning. I have a question for you I'm sorry dsm owner and am currently restoring my car. My question is hardware. Where do you buy it from do you get it new from Mitsubishi or is it at diffrent website (gold pladded hardware)
For the OEM looking good ones I use belmetric.com/
Thanks for watching!
