Great price 80000 and up for 1400 square feet..uhm not bad lol

Do Not and I repeat, DO NOT buy a house period. I purchased my house back in mid 2000's and I know now that I got real lucky with timing. The houses built now a days are crap, cheap all around masked with paint and shiny hardware. And most importantly all real estate agents are full of crap, worse than a car salesman. I had an agent when I purchased my home and he was the worst, always telling me that this was a "good builder". What a load of crap. So when I finally found the house that I wanted I told him what I wanted to pay and he got nowhere near my price. He told me that the offer was way too unreasonable and that it would be rejected on the spot. So a day later, he told me that they were willing to go 20K above my offer, so I took matters into my own hand. I went back to the builder sales agent and asked him if offer was relayed to corporate, he to me the offer was met at the beginning. I said how so?, you're 20K above my offer. He then told me that was the number my agent relayed to him. I got so pissed off in my head, I then told him my true offer and he said he's not sure if he can do that. I told him, call corporate and relay my offer, if they accept I will sign on the dotted line immediately. So the very next day I received my answer, they couldn't get to my offer but are extremely close, 5K above my offer. With no hesitation I accepted. I then told the builders sales agent to not notify my realtor and that I will deal with him. I then arranged a meeting with him and I gave him a piece of my mind. He told me that I was under contract with him and his agency, I told him "you wish", I have never signed anything with him and that he is lucky that my wife thinks he should get something because he worked with me for 3 months looking for a home. I told him, he would have to take 2% instead of the standard 3, or take nothing because I would fire him on the spot. He begged and pleaded and apologized, I told him, no F up's anymore. He then did everything I said until closing, no mistakes. Moral of the story, take matters into your own hands if you want shit done right. Never trust anyone but yourself. And in todays market, home prices are way over blown, you will not make any money. High home prices and interest rates will equate to nothing for decades.

Lived 28yrs in Pt. Loma CA suburb of SD. Only Masters degrees and higher, financially independent entrepreneurs and labor-scale workers co-habiting and co-opting can afford SD. Military can enjoy it until retirement but few can afford their SD dream golden years. No better place to live exist in the world than SD - why such the magnet. You’ll not be disappointed. But its the most conservative of all cities in US - which contradicts its rep

He sold me my home last year here in beautiful Fallbrook I came from Georgia andI love him and it doesn't hurt that he's so handsome on camera, but in real life he is just gorgeous, tall, and just classy and professional. He helped me before, during, and even weeks after my sale. He's not the kind that runs away once he gets your money, like 95% of other agents do. He's not gonna show you some random house. He's going to ask you questions and show you houses that will fit YOUR family's needs. Dont shoot yourself in the foot. Use Nick!!❤ And for the record it takes me 20 minutes to get to the beach. I take my dogs every day at 10 a m to Dutch Bros then a walk on the beach.

I looking at San Diego for retirement is it possible to find a 2-3 bedroom home 900,000 to 1 million in a golf community or 55 + with a pool? I have no idea what the price are like in SD anymore. I think San Diego and Palm Springs are the two places I am lookinng at.

New Terminal 1 - I fly United. T1 is ghetto. I’d prefer they focus on access to the airport from the 5 and the trolley/rail. Seaport Village redevelopment- TERRIBLE!!! run out the established local business and make it another Westfield.. ask the residents if they want this change? That “cool spot to hang out” will be GONE. Riverwalk sounds like a great idea, many cities have something like this. Challenges will be relocating homeless and mosquito/pest abatement.

Two million dollar home…..and a minimum of $20,000 a year in property tax….

Moved here in 1991 from Orange County to Oceanside. Back theme there was a little more gang activity and downtown was still a bit shady….but no homeless that I can recall. Downtown looks and feels better, but homeless still all around. It was cheap to move to Oceanside, not so much anymore except Oceanside is still the most reasonable for a beach close house.

Looking at San Diego for retirement, also Palm SPrings and Las Vegas. I kind of like the idea of San Diego and a golf community of some kind. Maybe close to the beach.

Our current home in AZ is more than twice the size of this in a non HOA area-do such things exist in CA in a safe from fire zone; for a decent-ish price? Likely not, but if so, what is the price range, and where are they located ? I can call or email if thats better

I lived there close to the coast in the 1990's for about 10 to 15 years. Love it. Least a new condo at a very good price back then.

Worst city I ever visited

Excellent video. Really informative.

San Diego has become unbearable. It’s easy to show sweeping drone views of the beach and city but you don’t know how much it sucks til you’re actually living here. Leaving soon, don’t come here unless you want to live in a backyard ADU for the price of a 2br apartment. My rent proposal was +30% this year, I’ve seen other predatory raises like this for alienable properties. It’s beautiful but not worth the price, traffic, homeless, politics, gun laws, tourists, etc.
