      @LeesaYu 8 дней назад

      Yes we did that recently for our baby! It’s a long process but we got there in the end. You just need to follow all the instructions provided on the Australian government website. The citizenship application can be done fully online, but be ready to take a trip to The Hague to sort out the passport. And also allow at least a few months before you need to use it (the whole process took 2-3 months for us)

    As someone born in Zaandam, it always funnily weird to see the Zaanse schans in tourist/expat video's. The sights are so familiar. My primary school was just on the other side of the river from the Zaanse schans and my highschool was on the other side, just behind the Zaans museum. Seeing this video's just brings me back to my youth :D Also Het Zaanse bakkertje is so good. I used to eat their bread with walnuts in it. So good, you only have to put real butter on it, and nothing more, to eat it. (I still like to eat it, but i moved to another part of the netherlands, so i don't buy my bread there anymore) The painting you found so fasinating is (was!) very famous. I'm not sure if you know the story about it: In 1647, an angry bull got annoyed by boys with kites. The farmer tried to calm it down but got attacked by it. His pregnant wife wanted to help him but got attacked also. With his horn, the bull performed a caesarean section on the woman; you can see the child fly in the air on the left of the painting. The farmer and his wife died, the child lived for 9 months after. They were all burried in the church nearby the field where the accident happend. Which gave the chruch it's nickname "de bullenkerk" ("the bulls-church"). The church is still there, and in use as a cultural centre. In front of it there's a statue of the bull with the wife on his horns. This story became well known very quick, and made it's way outside the Netherlands, even to China. You could say it went viral. That's why there are so much more pictures of this story.

      @@LeesaYu it is merely a variety of Portuguese. It is not distinguishable. Again do you tell people you speak Australian English?

    • @LeesaYu

      All official language courses specifically differentiate European Portuguese from Brazilian Portuguese. They usually exist as separate language programs. You wouldn’t have this for Australian x American x British English. That’s why I specifically refer to it as Brazilian Portuguese. Not sure why you’re so worked up about this 🫠

    Hi Leesa. My husband and I are thinking of visiting Morocco, and this was a very helpful video. We usually travel with just carry on luggage, so we'll each have a small suitcase and each have a smaller bag as well. We want to do the desert tour, but I was wondering how this would work with our luggage? I see that the tour includes a camel ride. We would book the nicer tents. Does our luggage get transported right to our tents or do we have to store it somewhere before the tour? I noticed that most people had backpacks for the desert. We could always buy a couple of compactable backpacks on amazon to pack in our luggage if needed. Thanks for your help.

    Hi Leesa, thanks for the video. I am looking at this 3 day trip from Marrakesh to Fez and I am in between making a decision to book a luxury tent or a standard tent. You said you got an upgrade for free, how does this happen? And do you have any information about the standard tents, I can't find any image about how the standard ones look like and I am not sure if it is worth to upgrade for 90 dollars just for one night...

      We got lucky and the luxury tents just happened to be available when we visited. I never saw the standard tents, but I think the main difference is that you get your own toilet and shower instead of having to share it with everyone else. I don’t think it’s a dealbreaker for just one night, and hopefully you will also get lucky like us!
