That's a fabulous stash! I have 8 kits in my stash, but at least 4 others that are stitched but need to be properly finished and sewn together including a wreath. Just got Merry Stockings' Gingerbread Village last month.

Christine thank you for the video, I enjoyed it so much! I'm even newer felter (is it even a word😂?) but I've bought some kits. You were actually the enabler for me 😅 I love those food ornaments. They coordinate with mill hill ones, don't you think? How fun would be to have them together. I've started one kit from Ukrainian company, they do the same way as Herrschners. So I cut the paper pattern, stick it to felt and just cut the felt using the paper pattern. At first, I used little magnets to prevent paper to move but they tried to magnetize with scissors. So, I switched to pins and it went well. The good thing of not preprinted felt is that you don't need to worry about printed lines staying on felt.

Wow your applique method seems so much easier than snagging the bottom layer of felt- my stitches are sooo wonky. I’m trying your method!!!

Love your videos! You should look into the Kai serrated scissors I saw someone using them for wool felt and I bought the set and they are awesome. The serrated edge is very tiny so it’s not wavy or anything when you cut but it really grips the felt especially for the small pieces.

Did you ever do an update or part 3? I was looking forward to seeing your garden come to fruition. I am in Florida, and I got the most beautiful sunflowers under my birdfeeders from the seeds that I fed to the birds. Imagine that? I do a lot of container gardening well I used to, but 2022 and 2023 was so darn hot outside that I basically gave it up and now I do just minimal stuff and succulents. I love zinnias too and that’s what I mainly do now because they’re so easy I wish I could show you photos. I’m also doing the native hibiscusbecause they’re also very easy and so beautiful.

Although I’m not a Halloween stitcher or crafter I have to say your display is impressive! You have the patience of a saint with these fiddly pieces. Does Miss Mary not lift any of the things?
