You had mentioned here you should probably get black glasses for the next blind. That's what I'm planning on doing. The black Glencairns aren't cheap, though. I looked around to see if I could find anything cheaper but no luck. One possible alternative to the standard Glencairn Whisky Glass is the Glencairn Blue Copita Stemmed Nosing Glass. It's designed for blind tastings but in the copita glass style. Price is about the same as the standard Glencairn but would give you a different look from the standard Glens everyone else is using.

Even funnier the second go around. It’s like watching Momentum and Sixth Sense again. Everything just makes sense now.

That JD Triple Mash Bonded is great with mint juleps. I also like it more than the normal Bonded.

For best results in blinds you shouldn't be guessing what they are as you go along. Should have the glasses be letters instead of numbers so you don't have the confusion of "#1 is #4, #2 is #3."

Also, the white stripes t-shirt is so awesome!

So I actually was "following along at home" and then your notes on full proof made me think of something. Have you guys put BM full proof against a Smith Bowman b3 cask strength? Try it. It honestly has the same notes, just slightly elevated. I just tried and was surprised (though I shouldn't have been since it was the same distillary). Great video!

I like Full Proof and Bonded. As a matter of fact I put equal parts of each in a 6L charred oak barrel which was put in my garage from May through August and from September to December 1 was in my basement. Came out pretty decent.

Single barrel is my control pour before tasting other pours. Full proof is my favorite. Small batch is meh. Haven’t purchased Top Floor due to poor reviews. Bonded is not good enough to compete with other Bonded choices.

Full proof is always a go to when I put bangers in blinds just for shock factor.

Distribution of bourbon is crazy. I can get Early Time BiB almost anywhere and under $30.00. I’m looking for the NBC, but don’t get it around here.

Old Man Winter was a delicious bottle. A bit pricey, but very tasty and a good winter sip. Lots of baking spices and caramel flavor. We popped it open and finished the whole bottle over the holiday break.

NBC is great and def try single barrel store picks when you come across them. Kings County Distillery is about 90 minutes from me. They put out amazing barrel strength products with notes of stewed fruit, raisins and a charred oak finish that lingers. Early batches used smaller barrels and they imparted such great flavors

I’d yell at you for not getting the Cedar Ridge, but NBC is damn tasty. And even though it’s good I would still take a bourbon over an ASM almost every time

So many bottles I've never seen before. Very cool. You mention Woodinville being craft. I always wonder if one of the these small distilleries is owned by a huge company are they still craft? Woodinville for example was bought by Moet Hennessy in 2017. We saw Penelope bought by MGP recently and Wilderness Trail sold to Campari who also own Wild Turkey. Are all these still craft distilleries or just brands for massive spirits companies pretending to still be craft? I still like them but how much of their appeal is just marketing so they can sell bottles at $130 like the one you showed?

Next time you're up there, check out Cellar Door Beer, Wine & Liquor in Kenosha. I bought a Holladay Soft Red Wheat for a good price and they also have the full assortment of Driftless Glen. I found their Bourbon de Naranja there.

My favorite port finish just got one have one grime last year.
