You wont see any improvement over 17/18w so its no use going up to 20. On my lcd steamdeck i would under volt it to -50 on all and then up the tdp to 18w with a 4000/2000 clock limit and i would get the same battery life and temps as stock.

The cutout in the middle circle on your steam deck actually makes the cooling of internet parts worse. Reduces air intake on the vents means hotter motherboard. You should consider sealing it.

I just want to have Emulation Station in the Steam library and start the roms from there. But when I click on Emulation Station in the Steam library, it doesn't start. When I add all the roms to the library they start. But Emulation Station doesn't start.

I Own the Asus Rog Ally Z1, And once i buy an Adapter for it to watch it from the main Monitor im going to try XDefiant on it. it seemed like it ran it OK but i only went into the Practice Zone so far. Once i get the Part i need, ill try the main game. fingers crossed - i subbed and liked, keep grinding ! ps i also do XDefiant content and other games as well, a Variety of Shooters/Looters FPS's Ect ect

What version of Proton are you using? I plan on getting the Steam Deck OLED, and this is a good way to play 76 (dailies etc) when I'm not at home.

Are the thumbsticks same for LCD and OLED versions?

Can we get a fitting version for the OLED without the memory killing vents?

Umm i didnt do any of this and directly been playing the game from steam on my deck.

800p/720p on steam deck compared to on rog ally. Valve really knows what they are doing for their console

You can also just calibrate them in Software using Terminal with the thumbstick_cal command in Desktop mode. Much less tedious than doing it with the button.

Ive learned that ANY decky CPU control plugins kill CPU performance. Either they really dont allow the CPU to go over 3.49/3.50. It gives more power and higher clocks to the GPU.

To anyone thinking of overclocking now, i would wait until steamdeck 3.6 update as valve is adding bios overclocking, its in the preview build.

Didn’t know that PortProton supports HoYo games. Need to check it! Especially when Zzz is coming. I play for about an year HSR on steam deck. And cool. Much more playable than on phone.
