Statistically you will play against counters pretty often, the possibility to play defensively and spell cycle gives you a chance to win even if you have bad luck. Also if the game was supposed be about making big pushes, there wouldn't be so many archetypes.

5 minutes is plenty to win a game

I think skins in this game are dumb cuz the main premise of some deck is hiding their win condition or even a support card and when you change the model of the troop, how can the other side know what you actually using

I dont mind OT at all, because some of my favorite memories in CR come from OT matches

As a clone + Giant Skelly user I can tell that it only works with Giant Skelly, and that is due to cloning of bomb. Its a very niche win condition, and works at 7k because most players dont have enough experience against this combo. I am still sad for the Giant Skelly bomb nerf btw

i used to put clone in my deck, because it's op with giant skeleton, also I love using weird decks before the champion update in 2021, clone was my second epic card to get to level 13, and my first maxed out epic is actually mirror

If your attention span doesn't let you spend 5 minutes in one battle then maybe that's the issue.

The problem I find is alot of people really are just waiting and or just defending and it's annoying

Void was such a bad idea, it does so many things other cards do while adding nothing new except being better.

Ngl I like the overtime, the soundtrack is sick and it matches perfectly with the intensity of balancing the moments of defending and attacking.

If you don’t play defense you get beat by beat down nowadays, so a lot of my games go into overtime and I win off tiebreakers. I’m saying this is the case as of this past month specifically. The meta is so bad rn.

Honestly, I enjoy overtime and matches just being longer in general. It makes the game much more intense and close, which makes the game feel much more serious (which many would think is bad, and it is to an extent, but I love it)

Remember when the game was about making a fun yet useful deck to your liking and advancing arenas with strategy instead of "Use premade deck 1 and beg the rival isnt using premade deck 2 or «X» towertroop to fully counter you?" I miss those days. I would take old overtime and no tiebreaker if that means going back to those days

I really like your view on how it ultimately affects the P2W issue as in the end it does drastically affect how much players have to grind as F2P. Let alone that there's also the problem of losing that also prevents progress and how the update for losers helped a lot, but there's still more that could be done about it to make progress still be worth it even if you lose often, but really that's just another issue to add on the list on how to actually improve the player experience, sadly. I love the game but it's a shame there's so many of these issues that only make players want to just leave the game because of the frustration that it builds up from its gameplay.

Miss the draws. If you went against your complete counter deck, it made it possible to not lose to a 100% counter deck. Now, it's all about spamming buildings and chip damage cards. But it honestly doesn't matter because I hate the game anyway now.
