nahhh who would pay 500 bucks to get a couple more points on the sat... it doesnt make sense even if you start with 700 in 2 months before the exam. cmon even if you will somehow get in a dream college thats totally out of your league then you wont last more than a year there (physycally or mentally)

Classes were easy at your cc bc you were not in stem. Chegg or any AI cannot safe you from advanced mathematics exams

Respect bro for taking life into your own hands and adapting. Many people actually end up on reddit/antiwork or similar, and won't do anything but complain for the rest of their life. Update: I was able to transfer to UCLA but got rejected from Caltech. Everything you said about a career is accurate. I am playing catch-up with my peers who have gotten internships in their second year. Granted, I have a slight advantage over my peers regarding transfers, where I could work in the lab. IMO, I did not feel the difference in academics. For context, I took 6 ENGR classes at CC and transferred to 4 ENGR for the quarter system. The social challenge is real; I only hang out with people who transfer as well and barely hang out with people that first years.

Thank you for the inspiration. I was looking for someone like you to show me it was doable. I’m 30 yrs old and dropped out of community college 11 years ago due to ‘life’. My only goal in life since I was young, was to get into Berkeley. My grandfather passed away and the regret of him not seeing me go to Berkeley started an engine that had been untouched for over a decade. I live near San Marcos coincidentally, and I just enrolled at miracosta in Oceanside for summer classes, and am going to try the same thing. Working a full time job also. You rock dude. UCLA is just as Elite as UC Berkeley, yet ucla is just simply the better school. Better social life and better student organizations that last beyond undergraduate

literally me. Im 23 too, I can't do this. I don't wanna be a slave. I'm trying to find ways out . this society is shitty I DON'T GET HOW this type of slavery is accepted and no one understands me, I feel waken up and it hurts cause the only choice is to grow to an upper level. if u have any suggestions they are accepted.

This is such bullshit.....I went to community college and I tried my ass off and worked during community college. All of my friends were at their four year college and their main focus the first couple years was partying and many of them dropped out. Guys. Anything is what you make it, whether you start at community college or a four year college, you will be the difference whether it's a success or not!

I did the same thing. I transferred from Foothill College to UC Berkeley. I felt Foothill prepared me well. So I guess it depends on the community college.

Is it possible at all to transfer from a community college (ostensibly well-funded with good transfer rate of 30% to UC's) to a private uni like stanford?

If my GE classes are 34 units and my major requirements are around 55. How many units will the university accept from cc? I am a stem student, and I took a bunch of GE classes, but apparently, most schools of engineering don't even look at that 😢 So are all of those ge classesgone?

Hey! So is it possible to transfer from SDSU to UCB after 2 years? Or should I do SDSU for 1 year and then transfer to CC to transfer to UCB? But I'm also afraid that if I transfer to CC then what if UCs school will reject me and then it will be difficult for me to go back to SDSU or any other CSU school.

I actually highly recommend a CC especially for its flexibility. I transferred to a top UC school, my professors were all amazing in cc and loved their students. Don’t listen to videos like this.

Degree seeking came to sn end irs because a me a trade school thing

I'm a high school student getting an AA through the running start program, it's amazing! HOWEVER the high school and running start advisors were terrible in advising me, I was lost for 1/2 years I am there. They advised me to be part time there and part time at highschool, but they neglected to tell anyone that any extra credits you take after grad requirements may not transfer, but all AA credits do... So naturally I switched. Even the online resources MADE BY THE PROGRAM CREATORS didn't have the answers. I always was being tossed around between advisors and everyone acted like I was stupid for talking to the wrong person. Other than that, 10/10 would recommend as a high school student, easier than high school classes at my place and I can pick when I want to wake up!

Cc science is difficult but business is exponentially easier than any stem major regardless of where u go so do not down play cc because you studied business and not a stem major
