Every single upload of this floating around has a high pitched tone throughout the entire release, so I finally decided to do a fresh rip. As with their In The Dark LP, this 7" is a Japanese deathrock essential. I've listened to this record 3x today because it's so damn good. What can I say, I'm a gatekeeper. Dancing death bayyybbeeeeee

I lived in West Hollywood in the summer of ' 79 after getting out of the service in San Diego. I got to see a few bands (even while in the Navy) that summer, but I never got to see The Middle Class.
I'm 52 & still this music never ceases to amaze me. DEEP WOUND & SIEGE are so influential on all the grindcore / powerviolence bands that came in their wake. SIEGE played at Obscene Extreme this year as well which makes me jealous of the people from Czech Republic 🇨🇿. I suppose I will just have to watch it on RUclips after listening to this EP.
