Flipper was always more of a live band than a studio band. This is evidenced on the multiple live recordings released during their initial existence, but even more so on the countless bootleg tape recordings that have surfaced due to the magic of the internet. All of the sloppy chaos and obnoxious stage banter you can handle, with unnecessarily long gaps of feedback and random noodling between songs, and rare tracks? Sign me the fuck up. Will Shatter is missing from this recording, with Bruno DeSmartass from Bad Posture filling in for him.
